As long as I stayed under 4 iu, most of the wrist issues would be marginal/tolerable. Seems like I ran it for ~ 6 months, if I recall correctly.
Low dose, 1-2 iu's daily (haven't decided) M-F schedule. Probably just stay on as long as possible at this point. It's more about over-all health than anything else.

Have some pharm gh arriving soon so I'll implement that for a low dose, long term run to help as well.
That will do you nicely. Hope you can get that behind you soon.

That's was pretty much my main focus, also. I saved up enough $$ to buy a decent amount and stretched it as far as it would go and still be of benefit. I was really impressed by the improvement in my skin and generally just felt and rested so much better. Have a good run!

    You guys!!!

You are the true pinnacle of human potential in here.

You need to give yourselves more credit. Maybe smile more, maybe laugh more, maybe smile and laugh at your CRAZINESS more.

I am 5'9" tall and weighed 212 the other day and I'm between 10-12% bodyfat.

The way I carry my muscle is in the legs, and my upper shoulders/traps and arms; so I'm lucky there. I think I'm decently big and I do stand out from others, but I'm no freak.

    YOU GUYS ARE FREAKS!

Your arms, your backs, your legs, everything. You are the head turners, you are BEYOND the ability of many.

Keep doing what you're doing because it is inspiring to me and to many others.

You do not have to be satisfied completely, but take a second to understand and appreciate that your work has paid off immensely and that you are the BEASTS, the FREAKS, and the HEAD TURNERS.

    None of you are normal.

I agree with you on this one. Everyone here from the pictures I see are genetic anomalies. I don't know what my parents did, but they must have skipped a few crucial steps in making me.

Only thing I have over others is jumping.

Nice! You were probably one of those kids that pissed me off on the high jump event. I had some 5' 10''-ish kid keep up with me up to 6' 8'' on high jumping and I'm 6' 4''.

On the jump pad I measured at 28'' vertical jump.

    I'm 6'1 - jumped 6'2

Best in the state was 6'10-7' that year I believe

I could get 6' 8'' barely. It was one of those moments where you seemingly made contact with the bar, but it wasn't abrupt enough to dislodge it's positioning. I can't remember exactly what our record was, but I know I didn't have too much further to go.

My biggest downfall was my clumsiness. I still can't walk without tripping periodically to this day. I missed out on my sophomore year because I fell off my back deck and landed on my back, yet I somehow managed to fracture my growth plate in my left ankle. I opened a car door too fast one tiime and somehow fractured my orbital bone when it caught my forehead.

This may sound completely crazy, but I dislocated my thumb when I was 12 from fapping..... I guess I just got too ravenous with the technique or something. Couldn't get the balls to tell my parents for a good week and eventually they saw the swelling and discoloration one day.

The epitome of a goofy white kid.

First day of swimming in 8th grade and I managed to get a concussion from not pulling up fast enough after diving off the board...

Perfect example on why you need to quit that hardball negotiation tactics and just graciously donate some of that mass to this mere mortal over here. I don't know if it will get through customs though.

Wow! That is impressive!!! I'm a complete virgin to HIT and I'm still reading through the earlier pages. Hardest part is tapping into the "furnace" as it's coined.

I can definitely say that reading through all the posts you guys exchange with each other and the encouraging statements, it's definitely been helping with my motivation in the gym. Just gotta really zone in on striving to compete against myself every rep and zone out everything else.

I'm only 23 years old so I hope that I can mold myself into something similar to you guys in the future. I really need to stop worrying about the science of HIT, but I'm just the kind of person that wants to know every single little detail about how it does what it does.

The best thing to do to see if this kind of training is for you is to start at the beginning of the thread and read every page, it will takes days even weeks but everything you need to know is within this thread. Best of luck

And I feel like I need to say that we must not confuse what motivates us, with our success.

They should be mutually exclusive and independent of one another.

Motivation can come in any form: anger, desire to become larger than life, etc.

Our successes need to be celebrated and not overlooked. Take the time to find your strengths and appreciate them.

But when its training time...unleash the rage, the anger, and the hate. Do absolutely whatever is necessary to motivate yourself to be better.

I don't know if it's apparent, but after under estimating this thread and you constantly reiterating the necessity to start reading at the beginning, I take your advice to heart. I've been copying/pasting all sorts of different posts into a word document and it's honestly starting to turn into a little book. Maybe I'll put it up on my DropBox or something after I finally read through everything. You could sell this shit!

Maybe I'll put it up on my DropBox or something after I finally read through everything. You could sell this shit!

I wish someone would have asked me this question many years ago...

"Have you ever failed at squats?"

Have you ever not stood up with the heaping load of iron on your back? Because on Tuesday, for the first time in my life...it happened. At that moment I was liberated. 365lbs came raining down...but it stopped at the supports and I was ALIVE!!! My legs were searing hot and the pain felt like it would never abate. I was hyperventilating and my eyes were flickering with the sky high blood pressure...but I was ALIVE!!!

At that moment, I felt like I had truly begun the HIT approach that many in here abide by.

I was baptized by that failure. Baptized into HIT.

That is what you have to do. You have to go so hard, and so painfully far that you WILL FAIL.

And when it happens, you will ****ing love it!

You're stronger than you think, and your mind is tougher than you believe.

Our successes need to be celebrated and not overlooked. Take the time to find your strengths and appreciate them.

But when its training time...unleash the rage, the anger, and the hate. Do absolutely whatever is necessary to motivate yourself to be better.
Now your talking you used all the words I relate to - motivates, anger, desire, larger than life, unleash, rage, hate and strengths

I'm getting all hyped up right now, but I'm sitting in class. One of my satellite campuses for my university is literally on the other side of the street from my apartment so I can stay on my internet connection.

On a serious note though reading this thread gets my adrenaline running, but the part I'm working on is learning what to do with it.

No I've never failed like that on an of my lifts and lately I've been reflecting on what I thought was intense training.. I just need to make sure I don't get ahead of myself. Everyone wants to be big, but no one wants to put in the work. I used to think like that, but now I know it's time to cut the beta bitch shit thoughts and prove to myself that there is an alpha male deep inside.

Oh, he is in there. Screaming and tearing to get out.

Tell you what, let me know what you're next planned workout is, and we can talk about where to safely hit failure on a lift.

Personally, I love it when I'm shaking to finish a rep and I hold that ****ing weight in my grip and growl as it doesn't budge...it may not move an inch more, but I will not let that weight beat me. Failure is winning.

Wow... Nice posts while I was torturing myself with unbearable pain!

    Legs

    Rev V squat
2 feelers then pyramided up to 4 heavy reps(6+aside) drop 4 drop 3 deep and all to failure(need I say this)

    Leg press - non lock
    1 feeler 2w 15+ 15sec break 10 - again to failure

    Smith Lunges
1 warm up 10+ 1w 8-10failing drop 6+ higher end reps on purpose to failure

    RDLs
    2w drop all to failure

    Ext
Warm up 1w 8ish + partials/1/4s until weight wasn't moving drop 4 drop 2-3 same as previous(partials/quarters etc all to failure)

    Leg curls
    Seated - 1w DD
    LYING heavier - 1w DD

WEIGHTS DONE IN 46min absolutely swollen - quads feel harder than set concrete! Good session!

Been feeling like shit but energy was up this week and got some good sessions in. Really learning how to get to true failure every set and every time, it's fuking brutal. Keep on pushing myself in the hopes I can stay off medication this winter. Keep up the fight boys.

Lately I'm still taking it easy. I recently had some bizarre knee mobility and after a doctor's visit they claimed that I have some localized swelling of my Meniscus. I don't really enjoy saying this as I feel it's a bitch-out, but I do have Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome. (Type III or Hypermobility Type) So I know I really need to watch out because it's pretty easy for me to go into the sketchy realm with my range of motion.

I'm going to put all my other writings I was working on to the back burner and I'll try to provide a detailed description of my workout regime. I'm honestly a little timid about posting what I've always done because I have literally found no one else who set up there protocol like mine.
