    what do you guys think?

can I last 2 weeks with chest and shoulders

I know you can last 2 weeks, but I just read the link about prolotherapy that Kel posted and that sounds like it would be well worth investigating. Much less invasive and if I'm reading it correctly, you would be "repairing" yourself vs. invasive surgery.
The guys that I know that have gone the RC route are either marginally improved or in worse shape than they were prior to surgery.

OK, so I went ahead and went back to the Dr.this afternoon. She asked me to take tonight off and stay off this leg. She want to have another MRI done tomorrow and just to play it safe since I have a history of throwing clots, they're also going to do an ultrasound?
She is extremely pleased with my range of motion, but isn't particularly thrilled with the amount of bruising/blood that is still visible.
Should be back at it soon. Guess I get to watch the wife holler at the TV tonight. She's a diehard Clemson fan. I'm not really a diehard football fan, but since I grew up in Alabama when I was young, I'm giving her a hard time.

Question for u guys about pain/injury.

When do u go to doc? Ag obviously had visual signs and extreme pain.

My left knee as had pain fir about 2.5- 3 wks now. Pain is a constant "4" maybe...with spurts of 7ish.

Can't squat with feeling like an old man.

Funny thing is this all started while off the gym for about a week ....

Haye to pay for a unnecessary mri....

Sfla... why not go ahead and go see the Doc since it's been hurting you for awhile now. They might not even recommend you have an MRI just yet. Maybe PT?? I know with my insurance I have to do 4 weeks of PT unless I went to the ER... anyways good luck and try and rest it as much as possible.

Yeah maybe no mri...that's the only thing keeping me from going.

Every damn cat scan I get cost me about 500 out of pocket.

    Can't imagine mri :/

The ultrasound is because I have stupid blood and I make/throw clots very easily. Guess the Dr. is just playing it safe.

I would get it checked out, Sfla. It may be that a short run of Nsaids takes care of the issue. On the other hand, if it is something that needs attention, you don't want to put it off for too long and possibly make it worse.
Maybe a light knee brace like the Ptex Kel has posted about before would help? I imagine you're on your feet a good bit during rush hours @ work?

Sleep until 12pm but wake up tired. 3 days on 2 off then 1 on and 1 off again. It's pissing me off..... I miss going to bed at 10 and waking up at 6-7am

Welcome to my world, buddy! I've worked third shift 6-7 days/week for the last 13+ years and it screws with your system for sure.

Mate I can only partially sympathise. It must suck royally!
I work 9-5 monday to friday. Then I work 10pm-3am on Friday and Saturday night. It just throws my whole sleep pattern out and its like being permanently jet lagged.

    Good morning everyone....

Chest is nice and sore this morning. Have a few things to do before I go in and hit some legs today. Leg session is going to be nice and short but very sweet.

Hope everyone has a good day.

    Hello gentlemen

    how are we today?

I wont be training for a couple of days due to a lot of work I need to do but I can tell you I need to the rest.

My consultant appointment has been put back to Feb now due to more blood work required, I really think its all telling me to stop cycling for good and just stay healthy. It is something I am considering

I don't like being in the dark about things, its like that over here in the UK not as open as the States but early next month I should have a clear picture of what is going to happen and if I require further treatment or I am good to be discharged.

Always remember the importance of a pullback, this kind of training is extremely hard on you I know the younger guys can take a lot of punishment but please always take a pullback for as long as possible to get things repaired and you fully recovered.

Hang in there big guy!! We are all here for ya. Thanks for everything you do in here and on this site.

Marcus I took well over a decade off due to work and the fear of losing my job years ago. If you choose to do this you'll be amazed at what you can maintain with your knowledge base coupled with TRT. I was not on TRT at that time but still felt and looked just fine. And this, imho, comes down to work ethic, drive and motivation which you without question possess. I even took a year off of training when my son was born. Never felt that I really lost much at all. One thing I did do was to hit the mirror at home and pose frequently, which in my mind helped maintain that mind-muscle connection.

In other words, if you have to do this it's just a bump in the road that you can climb over. AAS did not make you who you are. That comes from inside of you.

    Be well.

Longest I've done is 4 years and that's when I was going through low T and sorting my levels out, I did post pictures of me in the 4 yrs free of aas and I did great to my training and diet. Ive never took a lot of time off training though I think 1 year would hurt me bad, Thanks for the input

(I will try and find the pic of me when I had done 4 yrs free from aas)
