One hand KB turns(side to side)
X 5 to serious pain/& zero movement
Bis - short sweet intense zero rest in between
Axel bar curls S/S'd into Swiss bar hammers(leaning over curling to forehead) dropped every set to get to 10-12 at beyond failure
Seated BB curls(over lap) S/S'd into DB hammers
Failing b4 10 RP x2 each set(dropping reps a lot)/failing b4 8 RPing then into partiaks and zero movement
Rope hammers
One set(stacked 8-10) then dropped all the way to 40 by 10 lbs each set teps went down to 2 full and partiaks into zero movement

Ok, finished an egg white omelette w/ 90/10 grilled hamburger and a cup of plain FF Greek yogurt. Going to work in the yard and get rid of some nervous energy. Hope we don't get trespassers today. The stack of bodies is getting high; almost time to start a new heap.

Gonna be starting true HIT soon! My sleep has been all fvked up! Im getting it back as my cortisol seems very high atm(hence why im only hovering a little over my size! I look much thicker - so everone says - im starting to turn heads in our gym - theres some big MFers in there - one elite PL(275# flat benches 635 - un racks it himself and all) true beast!
Makes things much more fun when gaining - everyone's in their own zone which is great - 'oh a fvkin real gym'
Marcus - that Brazilian swimmer has trained w/DORIAN or had him train him(just moved out from London but knew him in both places I believe?! Also, he's bringing in more athletes to train! Can't wait!

Chest last night. "pullback"
Weighted pushups. 10, then failed at 7, dropped quite a bit and failed at 5.
Incline DB press. 10, 10, then a set to failure at 8.
Cable isolations concentrating on the squeeze. Three sets of 12-15.
Then hit shoulders. Seated lat raises. 10, then failed at 8 after a brief rest.
Seated DB presses, slow controlled for two sets of 10 then failed at 9 on third set.
Cable lat raises for negatives. Got 6 on each side.
This was a pullback since I had taken some time to change my schedule and hadn't trained in a week. Felt really strong and am looking forward to calves tonight. No pullback for the calves though, just sweet sweet ****ing murder.

Just filling in till Haz answers lol - I'll go heavy w/drops & stick within 6-12 rep range - then lastly I'll finish em off with cables reslly strict for more volume at the end of my session - I know it's the same movement but it's been helping shape and resize my delts since I can not press heavy at all :/
I think Haz goes heavy if im not mistaken!

I build a strong mind/muscle connection with delts..... You really have to use proper form because the stress on the joint while doing side laterals is high. Going heavy isn't good when it's not being done properly

I think its just my joints. I have to find the perfect weight for me to be able to perform the reps but not feel the pain. I'm always for going to partial reps too. Fortunately, I can tell when my form wavers and I can tuck my shoulders back and really lean on them and keep the shoulder locked. Of course it may just be that I'm in between DBs that I have and I need a new set.

I just want to thank marcus, and all the regular participants in this thread. I train alone due to everyone moving away while I was out from my back surgery, and I cant find anyone willing to train more than they talk.
I have watched dorians videos countless times, and I have been reading this thread. So today I tried my best at a hit workout, keep in mind I couldn't go to true failure due to no spotters. At my gym if you ask for a spot they have no clue, there used to be one kid that was great, but he has since moved on.
I have always pushed sets that pain was involved, but the pain today was on another level. What I did was a warm ul set or 2, and then drops sets. Since im alone I stripped the weight as fast as I could and got back down to business 10 secconds to strio the weights probably.
It was chest/tri day, and I will normally do 4-5 exercises for chest. Today I got 3 in, and was smoked. Its an hour later im still pumped and feeling a little pain.
decline bench 1 warm up, 1 warm up with bands attached, 1 working set with bands attached I dropped the weight 4 times.
flat bench 1 warm up, 2 working sets dropping twice for both sets this was with the aid of the slingshot due to my shoulders and to get extra volume
incline db press 3 straight sets higher reps lighter weight, the pain at this point was already unreal.
That was all the chest could take. I couldn't beleive how much damage you can do within such a little time frame. Tris were already pretty smoked after this so I hit 2 exercise in a similar fashion.
im not built like most of you guys, but im working on getting to 220 this year which would be a huge feat. I think the only way I will ever attain this is with thjs intensity of training. My jext goal is to find a like minded training partner willing to leave it all in the gym.
im sorry for the long winded post, but my training made a paradigm shift today. I owe it all to you guys. I will continue with this type of training for as long as I can.

Chest and little cardio again. Tuesday I forgot to post I went back at night with the wife and did 30 min treadmill so might do it again tonight.
Moderate weight for all. Focusing holding the tension on every rep count of 3 and exploding up. Concentrating on form. My back is still torn up from Tuesday.
Incline dB 2w 1f 1w dd
Flat dB press 1f 2w d
Smith incline 1f 1w dd
Actually did decline bb for first time in maybe a year. 2w
High and even cables to finish. 2w

I had trained for over 10 years before I rejoined this forum last fall and began the HIT journey.
I made the same shift and have seen more changes in the last 6 months than in the last 6 years...no bullshit.
Keep reading, posting, and asking questions. I ask questions either to enhance my knowledge, solidify my plans, or just to envoke responses. Its a brotherhood in here, and I just joined last fall and feel I am part of the community.
Failure takes everything you have, beyond the physical into the mental.
From there its all about small tweaks to make the most of failure.
I agree with those here, and elsewhere, that this style of training is superior to all others and is the best/most effective way to gain size.
