Going to crash early. Got several things to do this afternoon and would like to lift before work tonight if I'm not too beat down from last night's session.
Everyone have a good one. Kick Friday's ass like it owes you money.

I also will say I'm doing this to help open my shoulder up as well as getting my R arm to fire like(& as hard as my L) -- when I first started it was I thought my triceps got torn but it was not used to firing like it is now(I had a little imbalance in tri but it's widened and thickened already)
Honestly, Big guy, with your shoulder issues I have to say I think this is a bad idea. It really strains the shoulders, and although I realize you are using the Smith the risk outweighs the reward in my opinion.

We wouldn't be brothers here if we couldnt talk about this stuff so I hope you won't take it personally, Nach.

Also, for shoulders, especially big ones, forcing your tris to be come a dominant part of the lift takes away the work of the delt and diminishes gains. I know that not many people believe in no pressing, but this is a big reason why I do and others do.

All I'm saying is you could be opening up your shoulder with stretching and flexing and hitting them without doing potentially disastrous lockouts.

Pounding some coffee, trying to get mentally ready for back and shoulders. Zero clue what the plan of attack is. I'll surprise myself like usual I guess!
Hope the weathers better wherever you guys are. Nothing but rain in the northeast. Sucks.

Weather has been funky here in SC. Warm and thunderstorms one day, next day temps are like it is the middle of March instead of early May.

    None taken brother!

I'm also doing lots of stretching rolling deep tissue work ART and PT... I agree with what your saying, however, my R tri does not fire like my R, therefore, I'm not dominating my delts w/my tris as I'm using lighter weight but what's happened over the yrs is I wasn't locking out my R triceps like my L leaving the L much more dominant...

I didn't have a spotter that day which made me use the smith in a much different manner I ever did... The lockout is actually more for your delts when externally rotating the shoulder & elbow...

I understand what your saying but it is something I have to see if I can continue to do - as Marcus stated pressing has always been a strong point for my delts - I lose size if I don't - and I'm not trying to do that atm

Always appreciate your advice(I do trust this guy with my injury) I can't say that about many of any other trainers....

    Hey guys!!

Just wanted to stop by and say hey to some ol friends!!

I have been down and out the pass 6 weeks. I have had a cast on my left arm. It all went back to when I hurt my wrist. I mentioned it on here when I did it. It never got better and my thumb would go numb.

Anyways I get it off end of the month, thank god. Hopefully everything will be good to go.

I see everyone is doing good and that's good news. This is going to sound gay as hell but I miss everyone here. I miss the motivation. I just had to lay low got depressed and just could get on here.

    Everyone have a good Sunday!

    Sat-Back/Arms

    High rows-Machine w/plates
    Med grip hammer pull downs
    Low rows-Machine w/plates
    Close grip pull downs
    T-Bars
    Barbell rows

    Bi's/Tri's

    Preacher single arms
    Tri extension machine head level
Single arm ground up curls (Where you sit with your elbow in your thigh)
    Seated cable over head extensions
    Cable bi's head level
    Straight bar over head extensions

Big work out but kept my sets low. Heading to gym now for cardio, abs and probably a little chest.

Have a great day guys, train hard and eat big!

First day of my 12 wk. program. Chest & arms today & upping the intensity - watching/hoping this old body holds out.

Grocery bill for just three days was sizable.

Late to the party, enjoyed Marcus's old Dorian Yates videos, thanks Marcus. Added 5 second eccentrics on all. Did double armed drop sets for both bi's & tri's, then some single arm for both as well, with assisted concentric to failure, then 2-3 eccentrics to failure. A new level of fatigue, like it.
