Goooood shoulder lift tonight. Had to cut it a tad short. Right after I got to the shop and broke the rocker switch on my big fan , my stomach warned me that I needed to go back to the house pronto, so when I finally got started, I barely took any breaks.
RC exercises and broomstick stretches
D'bell shoulder press- 2 w/u, Work-8+,drop,fail,drop,5+. Grabbed air and about .5 liters of water. Work2- 5+ reps at the last drop from my first set w/ a 10 count hold into a 10 count neg. on last partial. If I continue to improve, I'll bump this weight up soon.
Seated side laterals- 2 w/u, Work-8+,drop,2+,drop,3+ w/ painful 10 count hold on all partials.
Face pulls- 1 w/u, Work-9+ - 3+ - 2+ w/ 10 count hold on partials.
B'bell shrugs- 1 w/u, Work1(rear)- 5+, drop,5+ w/ 10 count hold on partials. Work2(front)- 5+ - 3+.
D'bell shrugs- 7+ reps.
36 minutes not including RC exercises and broomstick stretches. Really rushed it more than I wanted to, but my stomach overruled me. When I was kicking up the bells for shoulder presses, the earlier posts about lifting alone ran through my mind and I was thankful my arm didn't pull apart at the elbow.There are 3 loves in my life: my wife, my English mastiffs, and my weightlifting....Man, my wife gets really pissed when I get the 3 confused...

Man, just been on tren a 150 mg and dbol 40 mg for 24 hours and i feel this is the big dog drugs in the industry. I also feel hotflush in face and headache and im glad im going off already saturday. But i had to try this baby to find out if its legit. I need legit stuff becaise my next one will be bulk.
Man, there is no limit with sus tren a and dbol...which i will show you guys in december!!

Sil your not even hitting your traps on that movement(not directly) not with your shoulders rounded forward and your not pinching your shoulder blades together to pull ur shoulders back enough(& what was that a 45lb plate)
Really just trying to help but I bet Dick Piana does that 'all the time'

Actually this is a RP spesial with a narrow grip barbel shrugs and believe me, i felt it in the traps. Often its hard to tell. Remember watching cutler doing preachers in some machine. For a nontrained eye it look like he was Just jumping his Ass. But forsure he connected with the bis big time.

Shoulders are geeked, especially anteriors and traps are sore all the way up into my neck. Think I'm going to make this a big rest day and plan for a back attack Weds. evening if all goes well.

tere's always different ways to do the movement... IMHO, to get the height on your traps CG(or my preference is heavy DB shrugs... To lengthen your traps - a wide grip will make them longer and makes you look even more broad. I also, go as heavy as 4-6 plates aside when shrugging w/a BB.... Never saw such thickness once I incorporated them(still getting 15-20ish reps on heaviest set [/B] [/B]
^^ this Sil... It's a good movement but your taking away the direct trap work w/out pulling your shoulders back... Feel the difference when pinching your shoulder blades together(locking into your lift - they do not come out of that locked in position) and just shrug - tell mayor can't feel a much better MMC with your traps...

Rear Delt
Bent-over flys: 3 work-ups, 2 working sets with single drops each
Face-pulls: 1 wu, 2 ws with single drops each
Back
Underhand, low hammer row: 2 wu, 2 ws
Shrugs: 2 wu, 2 ws
Prone machine (spider?) rows: 2 wu, 2 ws with single drop on last set
Med-grip pull downs: 2 wu, 2 ws with single drop last set
Biceps
Cable preacher: 2 wu, 2 ws with single drop last set
Single arm machine curls: 1 ws to positive failure, then negatives and assist negatives to failure
Last week of first cycle almost in the books. Hope everyone's week has started well.
