for the last weeks, all Im doing it torturing my arms, forearms, triceps, biceps, they gotta grow.... and "broscienceing" something out of myself
It almost feels if I train different body part after body part and keep on going around the training schedule I am growing slower, Im recovering harder, I have less results, more fatigue, less motivation... of course its short observation but if I did my arms routine then take 2 days off, then repeat arms routine, take 2 days off, then again do arms routine, I can literally see changes in my physique although I may not be adding any extra weight to my workouts, but maybe extra 1-2 reps on SOME exercises, plus, I feel the recovery times are greatly reduced doing workouts such way, and my motivation to go kill the workout is just growing... I am thinking doing similar rotation now for back chest shoulders and see what will happen.
I almost feel like a credit-based machine, lets say I have 100 worth credit in me, and I can spend this split by 20% on each body part and see/feel the results accordingly, yet tax my body to a greater degree, still got to live in between workouts if you feel me? or I could go blast out lets say ~50% on my arms, then recharge, blast another fresh 50% of my "credits" on my arms again next workout, then recharge-recover again, and repeat over again, instead of splashing all the credit over the place - I think I do actually hit overtraining zones doing so
if that shit makes sense to you? ^Last edited by InternalFire; 07-26-2016 at 10:42 AM.

@ IM - it sure sounds like your not recovering nearly fast enough... which brings me to 'are you really training hard enough'?? F you were you wouldn't be able to do arms 2-3x wkly - tear the muscle down then let it recover... Less is more!!

I know one for sure that I dont know my own strength sometimes, and most of us dont most of the times, but I do know when I get severe joints pain, pulled muscle, tendinitis and pulled ligament... so I do know my physical limits to a degree and to avoid traumas I try to hit the hardcore sweetspot, not to traumatise myself so I can workout few days later not a few weeks later, yet to destroy the muscle.
Dont get me wrong, I do stretch and go trough warmups before I go at the weights.
I do feel severe DOMS about 12-24h in on after workouts, then additional 24h later DOMS are halfway gone, and on 72h post workout I feel like I can go kill it again, and I repeat with same recovery timing... so go figure, maybe I am not pushing myself hard enough...?
Im a weirdo of my own, I know.

I don't think you're a weirdo. As a P.T. in sports rehab, we typically saw people 3x per week for hard training, which for many included eccentric work. During those workouts you hammered the same muscle groups and repeated the same exercises, adding when and where tolerated. If they were diligent, they would do light work at home in-bewteen therapy sessions. And btw, that was without AAS. On my watch, they all got stronger, they all improved. Overtraining would manifest itself not in the muscles, but in inflammation of the tendons - that was what we would have to be watchful of.

Seriously, you take a guy like Adrian Peterson (NFL football player) who recovered from ACL surgery in record time. He's a running back, it's his ACL. You think his workouts weren't gut-wrenching, you think he hit his legs only once a week? However in his case, although not proven, you have to think AAS was possibly involved.

Agree with the likelihood about that being the cause of your pain, don't like the fact that he didn't check you. As mentioned on the other thread, this might be a perfect time for a qualified chiro who can do some deep tissue work and/or manipulation. Got to ask though and forgive me if it's none of my business, but man, how much is out of pocket surgery on your knee going to run you?

That's what I'm trying to find out, and all I found out was 180$ out of pocket to him. Not counting what the surgery center charges, and the doc with the meds to put me out (lmao wasn't about to try to spell it ) they can't tell me how much for those until I pick a date

Daaang, I slept good on a half of a Flexeril. Shot day in about 9 hours, run a few errands, and shooting to work back. F-in traps are very sore and shoulders gave me some grief when sleeping on my side.
There are 3 loves in my life: my wife, my English mastiffs, and my weightlifting....Man, my wife gets really pissed when I get the 3 confused...

Just got back from CPR training. Watching people have heart attacks on DVD all night is not fun - think I'll be doing more cardio and doing some BW sooner

Ok girls, pics from todays training. Dorian pulls and dumbell rows again. Biceps hurt so i used onlye 100 kg at the barbell for the dorianrows. 60 kg for the dumbells.
Squats and hacks also.
Havent deceided yet when i go off sunday. Try to stay or get leaner or get my body up to 120 kg which is my offseason natty weigth. 19% fat.
And i hate to say this..but...my traps are better than yours there NACH..maybe you should look up some Piana vids :Last edited by AR's King Silabolin; 07-27-2016 at 04:15 AM.

Morning fellas
It seems after i press for shoulders it's best to take a day off after(plus I did accessory work it may be a tad too much)... So I did yesterday and today I'm back hitting quads!
Anyway, have got some things on my mind since returning to work(it was so great b4 I got hurt and went out) now things changed(w/upper management)... At least all the members are coming up to me saying "you were missed greatly' & 'it's so good to have you back' etc - I sure hope that's being taken into consideration as is my work(that'll speak for itself) and has...
Ranting :/ but I want to thank a group friends here for helping me with this situation yesterday, as well... Again Thanks guys!
