Thx man I'm glad to hear that -- it's battle b/c it does hurt very intensely each day all day(you know the score on that :/) but it's music to my ears as well

I've Just been implementing what and how you were going to attack them w/slightly more volume but still overloading the weight on the heavy sets -

Been using lots of drops on side laterals(heavy then like 4drops hitting high(reps) same for front raises(lots of s/s of heavish BB or rev EZ BAR) - and for my pressing I've been using the rev hammer strength press(facing recline)again lots of drop sets RPs etc - started w/half ROM which you spoke about and been getting more and more back(it relieves the pressure off the back/posteriorly but also hits the rears nicely on the controlled eccentric part of the lift) - plus I've incorporated one fill in day for accessory delt work no pressing

Anymore ideas on pre-exhausting - different movements to change it up

If.it.weren't for Marcus, this phenomenal thread, and all of y'all in here, I shudder to think of how weak I would be and how disappointed I would be with myself.
It really pulled me back from a life that I wasn't enjoying because it was all work amd took me to a life that is lots of work, but I also have a place to stay motivated, push myself, and continue to learn with friends.
Have no qualms about saying this was literally a life changer for me. Even my wife admits it and she is almost as hard headed and stubborn as I am.

    Legs

    Started with squats

Its was pure squats for 5 sets, started very light and still concentrating on breathing and bracing and went up heavy. My hands and getting in a better position on the bar due to the more flexible shoulders now, the better hand spacing has increased more stability in my locking into a brace to help protect my back. Squatting is coming along good and my lower back didn't really hurt which is strange but it held up ok. Finished with leg curls lying and also leg extensions

Nice, Marcus. That's one reason I'm trying to work on my left shoulder. Right now a mid bar position is all I can do, but when I was younger, I favored low bar position. I'd like to get back to that if possible, but if not mid bar will work.
At least the days I practice form, hit calves, and use dry bar or very light weights on the bar for cardio seem to be helping. My goal is to be back to smooth, fluid squatting by end of the year if not sooner. No dive bombing down or anything, just smooth down, stop, reverse and a nice even, steady struggle up.
I'll still be doing my machine hacks and reverse hacks, but plain old squats are such a good overall mass builder.

Well, got 3 hours that time. Believe I'll watch some old Game of Throne or 90s strongman for a bit and grab another hour or two of sleep. I feel a nice Southern middle of the night/early morning lift coming up later.

Also my hands started to go wider which was a problem, the closer you can get them or as tight as possible along the bar just outside your shoulders the better contraction in the lats when you brace which will lock your back into position to protect it, you kind of like pretend to bend the bar in a pull down fashion like a lat pull down and this locks all your muscles up around your spine to protect it and will increase your squat a lot. But my shoulders has been making my hands go wider and also ive been struggling to hold the fucking bar on my neck so had to go high bar, which isn't a problem but I prefer it a bit lower down which was impossible with my shoulder but now the bar is further down and hands closer together so that's why I am doing a lot of trigger points before lifts to get my brace right and strength is coming back, I have to be very careful with my lower back to its a slow process to build up

It really is so much more than 'just a great thread' we talk about everything in here(including some shit I'll never understand - gimps who/what?!) life and quite honestly just how everyone clicks in here is something special...

AG, this forum & thread also got me out of a situation in which I was very much going in circles! I couldn't agree more with what you said!

Row row row, the walnut was smashed the day big man fvcking smashed.

T bar 1 working 1 drop chest against pad

One arm rows 1 working 1 drop. Smith

Bent over bb rows 1 working 1rp 5 more 1 drop

Seated row 1 working 1 drop. Med grip

Seated row machine 1working 1 drop

    Done, good session fellas.

First time ever using the smith machine to do one arm rows (Kel) really liked it, they will be in my back workout from now on thank you kel.

Bb rows grip on the working was normal shoulder width apart, then the rp and drop was a wee bit wider.

I never really use the t bar machine as i like the old school way v handle for the cables and just put it under the bar.

I squeezed every single rep on every ex the day.

    Done, good session fellas.

First time ever using the smith machine to do one arm rows (Kel) really liked it, they will be in my back workout from now on thank you kel.

Bb rows grip on the working was normal shoulder width apart, then the rp and drop was a wee bit wider.

Will get something posted up sometime later today. Didn't realize until I looked at my phone calls from yesterday that I was in the dentist chair for ~ 2.5 hours. LOL, jaw is somewhat swollen. Hope everyone is having a good weekend.
There are 3 loves in my life: my wife, my English mastiffs, and my weightlifting....Man, my wife gets really pissed when I get the 3 confused...
