    TR thanks for the trip down memory lane that was a top film back in the day and still is, I think I was four when I seen it lol

    TR I have The Crossroads on VHS still. One of the best rock movies ever. Jami Gertz was in that movie when she was young and still hot.

    Steve Vai does indeed kick ass.

    Funny that Via lost to some first-year Juilliard School shit.

    Yeah, but he really didn't lose. I mean Ry Cooder did all of Danielsan's guitar work until the end where Danielsan does the Paganini 5th caprice shred. That's really Vai playing against himself.

    I used to have a designer that loved Vai so I could hear the music always coming out of his office. Tons of Mastroianni too.

    Vai was one of my idols growing up when I first started playing guitar.
