    Just met Jay Cutler

I got my second signature for my belt
The pics of him are on my digital camera, I will post them tonight.
He didn't stay to talk like Phil Heath did but he was still really cool and answered people questions when they asked. It was more of an autograph signing.

I like hearing when the pros come off as decent dudes. Often wonder what they would be like ...different ones.

I thought they would have huge egos or just be jerks but they aren't. Pretty cool considering they are the best in the world at what they do.

Lol I took cell tech the first time I took creatine years ago. Thought it was great, then I took kre alkalyn and have never gone back. I'm gonna try monohydrate again though to see if I like it any better now. I took it before for a couple months but I liked the kre alkalyn better.
Cell tech doesn't even mix well. Not that it matters but when a supplements that expensive give me a break

Nothing against Jay, but I always find it kind of funny when people talk about meeting various pro bodybuilders, getting their autograph and saying, "he was friendly...seems like he's a pretty good guy." Well of course he seems that way, he's working, his job is to seem like your best friends. Remember, even Craig Titus smiled and shook everyones hand before he murdered and then burned that girl in her car. My point, meeting someone and they be willing to shake your hand (BTW, at signings they're being paid to do so) does not make them a good person.

Bodybuilding, one of my favorite things in the world. However, as I've gotten older and been around it in one way or another for a lot of years now, bodybuilding is one of the nastiest things on earth. Bodybuilders, most pros are despicable human beings, pure trash. I would put the porn industry a step above professional bodybuilding, at least those people know who and what they are. They're not hypocrites. Bodybuilding equals a bunch of liars, men with very little to no morals, faithfulness and loyalty mean nothing and simply living as a delusional hypocrite. Not all bodybuilders but more so than not.

I remember when it hit 100 dollars a tub at one point, still think it goes for 50-70? It my personal experience kre alkalyn was more a placebo effect and I took it for 3 months, stopped and switched to mono, drank lots of water (started to drink a lot more) and I noticed I wasn't bloated looking and that my strength gains stayed the same/progressed, physique improving and 40 bucks more a month in my wallet. I honestly would rather stick with mono, plenty of studies out there showing mono/kre/nitrate all give the same effects, personal experience I am happy to go back to Mono, remember to drink lots of water (should be doing anyway)(

So pretty much you're saying hes still a bad person giving up his free time to sign autographs to random people, shake their hand and give them advice? If I recall correctly none of these bodybuilders have a gun behind their head forcing them to sign peoples papers and forcing them to give tips and take pictures with. I don't recall any porn stars however giving tips about sex and useful information and having respect for themselves having sex for money and letting thousands upon thousands of people watch and masturbate too.

To your previous reply to my post: I truly felt the effects of kre alkalyn. They were noticeable especially since I went into it expecting nothing to happen. Now regarding price, kre alkalyn is a fraction as much as cell tech and mono is a fraction the price of kre alkalyn plus its tried and true among many senior members so I don't see a downside.

The reply you have to the negative poster here was awesome lol I totally agree with you.

I think you misunderstood what I was saying. Further, I never said Jay himself was a bad guy, I was speaking in general.

When a bodybuilder like Jay (any bodybuilder) makes an appearance at some venue, 99% of the time they're not doing it for free, they are required to or they're being payed to. When you sign a deal with various supplement companies, magazines or whatever else, they require you to make appearances like this, it's part of your contract. And no, I'm not saying this makes them a bad person, but it doesn't make them a good person either.

Most bodybuilders and I do mean most cheat on their wives every chance they get, have no sense of loyalty to anyone and are only your friend if their is something in it for them. If you cannot offer them money or the means to make more money they will have no use for you whatsoever. Numerous of these guys are also heavy rec drug users. Coke and opiates are a big part of the bodybuilding lifestyle when you're at the top level. Many are also involved in a lot of other illegal activity.

In a lot of ways, its the industry that drives these people to turning into a mess. Perhaps I should have said the bodybuilding industry is truly the culprit of filth. The way they treat the bodybuilders (in most cases) is mind blowing. In no other sport or organization of any kind could an industry get away with what it does in bodybuilding. And when I referred to porn stars, my point wasn't that these people are upstanding citizens, my point was they're generally not hypocrites. Bodybuilders are often portrayed as upstanding guys with halos over their head...they're portrayed as your bro, just one of the guys at the gym just like you, but most of the time they're not...that's just the reality. Then you have porn people, sure a lot of what these people do is pretty filthy but they do not hide behind a fake persona and while they may be filthy they're not hypocrites and a hypocrite is the worst thing you can be IMO.

Years of working in and around this industry. That's all. I grew up wanting to be a bodybuilder, loved it and lived for it. Why? I have no idea, I knew there would never really be any money in it, not for me but I still loved it. I think more than anything it was just a desire to conquer something but more and more I kept getting sucked in. I even went to school to be an attorney but let that all go to work in this field, I was hooked. As the years went by, I would eventually start working with Dave Palumbo back when he was still with MD. At first I simply hired him to help me with my diets and he was actually very helpful. In time, Dave would help point me to some small projects (money) and one thing led to another. I know a lot of people hate Dave out pretty hard, and in a lot of ways sure, he's a different kind of guy but he's not one of the horrible ones. years later I would get more and more involved in different projects, would begin covering pro shows and all that...back stage and dealing with these guys ever day...I know how they live and it's nothing like what the magazines say. Not even close. Don't get me wrong, I still like bodybuilding but the industry has become so corrupt and full of so many horrible people that its simply frustrating. In a lot of ways it's the bodybuilders own fault, they allow the industry people to take advantage of them and pump lies into their head and this leads them to falling down paths they shouldn't.

Last thing, there are good ones out there, actual bodybuilders who are truly good people, actual competitors that are just as they're portrayed to be.
