As far as performance I prefer BMW, when it comes to European. I've driven so many of all of the big three and BMW is hands down the best for that. Merc is nice but doesn't have the performance that Audi it BMW do.

What the f*** is wrong with ford mate? I bought a new fpv gt with the supercharged v8 5l and i also have a fg xr6 turbo ute which is semi modded both beautiful cars fast and made in aus. Dont dis my ford ok? In australia you make fun of ford or holden(gm) to the wrong person it will get you killed. And im not joking about thos. skaffie got death threats when left holden for those jap nissan things.

Edit: ok ive had 5 minutes to relax and calm down im sorry. But there are 3 things i take seriously in my life.
    1. My fords
    2. My cricket team
    3. My work outs.

I'm more of the turbo diesel (duramax) or import guy myself. Something about ford just feels wrong. It's like going out for a fancy dinner and deciding on McDonalds. To each his own tho. Oh but I'd rather drive a ford then a civic..

    Chev > Dodge > Ford

Gixx, Merc all the way. The S5 is sharp lookin, the BMW more suits your wife, the C63 is a beast.

I use to b in the car business and audi run terrible past 75k
    Bmw have bad resale value
    Mercedes are prices to high

I like all three but based on pics I would go audi if u plan on selling after 4 years
    prices are all close
warranties too except the c63 i would have to get used
    probably keep it 4-5 years
most 3 series hold their value in my experience. when i got my wife her car, it was cheaper for a clk then a 3 series

the merc i picked will out perform either the 335 or the s5. it only has and extra 160hp then both, bigger brakes, thats why i would have to buy a used one.

Definitely an Audi, they look amazing. Mercedes and BMWs are becoming too common.

Well yeah lol but those cars aren't comparable. 335xi is a wicked fast car. I'm an American muscle car guy buy I sold BMW, mercs and Audis for a while.

I agree with this. Audis are less popular and are still phenomenal cars. Not sure why they are less popular honestly I view them as better than Mercedes.

    deciding between the following
    335is
    audi s5
    used c63

thinking of getting in the next few months. Never driven the s5 or c63. I had a c55 so im sure the c63 is a beast,
535is much better ride, same engine and resale value is much better...

my buddy and i bought at about the same time, he got the 328.. i got the 5 series... he hates me now.. jk, but although the 3 is snappier, the comfort level and size difference is significant..

That would explain why Ford sold their stake in that company then. Ford is on a quest for best in class quality second to none. Look at their F-150 best selling 33 years in a row.

Now you know why Calgarian drives one. Bhahahahaha

I would go with the Audi for styling alone. Not crazy about Mercedes lately. I have always liked the BMW 3 series, but there are so many in this town I would only buy one if it as an M.

A used Porsche might be a good move if you don't need a back seat or the ability to haul much.

but out of what you posted the s5/a5 is my choice

not mad about the new bmw, it close between the audi and merc but every review i read reckons the s5 is a serious machine and the build quality of an audi is second to none i.m.o

the only issue i have to look into that is a concern to me is the warranty on a c63. Since i will have to get a used 1. I remember hearing a while ago that there isnt extended warranties on amg's.

    Gixx,

What are the last 6 vehicles you have owned - not including your wife's, but you can list them.
