Crisis at my house: Wife called, dog is gone!

well as stated i just got a call from my wife, she was in a panic and said one of our dogs is gone! her name is penny and we've had her 2.5yrs. rescued her from the dirt road by my house. she used to be a hunting hound dog and has recently just been a lazy fat sleeping dog. i hope she comes home, very uncharacteristic of her to go anywhere.

I'd be fine if the wife left (hoping actually.)

I'd be very upset if the dog did....

all she does is lay on her fat butt in the dirt all day, come inside and the time she gets most excited is during her mad dash from the shower to the food bowl! afterwards she retires upstairs in the man cave to her personal bean bag for a little more R & R..

we have a wireless pet containment system of which shes petrified of getting shocked. i cant imagine her: 1) having the desire to go anywhere and 2) having enuff desire to willingly get shocked in the process.

nope. so now not only do i have a missing dog but also a wife who cried herself to sleep last nite and every time i turn around shes standing on the porch looking for the pup. today she made 200 picture signs and is distributing them around the neighborhood and walking thru the woods.

she also notified 25 hunters who hunt in the woods by my house.. meanwhile im at work and cant do anything. although i dont know what else to do..

sorry bro. I would also call any animal shelters in your area, city animal control.

What the chance that she is expecting pups. Dogs often leave to give birth & if that's the case you will have to go find her bc she won't leave those pups, she might bring them back to the house 1 by 1 though.

Hope she comes back man, I know I would be horrified if my dog left.

Everything was impossible until somebody did it!

    I've got 99 problems......but my squat/dead ain't one !!

It doesnt matter how good looking she is, some where, some one is tired of her shit.
