    Top quality headphones...

Looking for some top quality headphones to replace my earbuds...as I tend to blare music so loud that the entire gym can hear what I'm listening to.

Anything that connects to an iPhone 4S is fine by me...price doesn't really matter, but obviously less money = better.

Aight man I will take a look and see if they might be what I need...ever since I have gotten back from Thailand I've been on a huge progressive trance/house kick...I don't think it will ever stop either.

    Thanks for the tip.

haha maybe price does matter...I can't quite justify spending $1,050 on something I'll likely put through the washing machine a few times...I was thinking more like anything under $300.

Shure or Etymotic... whatever pair you can get for sub-$300 then. You can't go wrong with either brands if you want top quality.

I myself found that I like Bluetooth in-ear headphones best for the gym. That way I can link it to my phone and there isn't a cable dangling between my phone and ears. I use Jaybird Bluebud X.. sound good and last the whole week in the gym without a charge.

For everything but the gym- I have Sure 535's with custom molded sleeves by Sensaphonics- worth the $150.00 to get custom molded. I travel a lot for work so I use them a lot on planes.

Sometimes when I piggy-back on other threads people suggest I make my own...figured I would do so here since I likely have a different preference/price-range than some people in other threads, whether it be higher or lower. I guess I lose no matter what

I use the $15 skull candy headphones. I get about 6 months out of every pair with heavy use. I can justify spending anymore when I always pinch them with weights and dangle them in the drinking fountain.

I'm really liking these so far...I actually wanted some bluetooth ones but I've never seen any before and hadn't really looked into it at all.

Check out the Klipsch S4. I've had mine for a good while and love them.

For guys looking for a more cost efficient option, MEElectronics has some nice offerings.

    Skullcandy hesh 2.0

I picked them up for 40. Sound great and skullcandy is pretty good about replacing them if they stop working. They are over the ear, but feel pretty comfortable in the gym.

Yea, I bought them about a month ago and they are awesome. I've had other brands before and they all sucked compared to these. I like it because I just paired it with my phone and I have all my music on my phone. No cable dangling from your neck and these stay in your ears. I've had problems before with ear buds falling out especially on the flat bench. These have been the best yet and they actually sound good.

Everyone I see in the Gyms in Kuwait use Beats over-the-ear headphones, I spoke to a few guys who used the ear buds and they kept interfering with their workouts or breaking.

When I use headphones I like the over the ear also. Buds do fall out sometimes but I cant see spending $$$ on headphones. I doubt I could tell the difference between $20 headphones and $200 headphones except for the fact my wallet would be a lot lighter.

Its a night a day difference. You drop some coin on a quality pair of over the ear headphones and you pick up on things in music you never heard before. I had a full competition sound system put in my truck and it is crystal clear, but sometimes I throw my beats on and hear sounds or instruments I never even knew were in the song. If I have a hard time understanding what the lyrics are at a certain part, i throw my beats on and problem solved.

I have not but I also hear good things about the "S" models. I saw this on one of my deals site and remembered the thread. Says these normally go for 119-149 but are on sale for 89.99 so i figure it was worth mentioning.
