Top quality headphones...
Looking for some top quality headphones to replace my earbuds...as I tend to blare music so loud that the entire gym can hear what I'm listening to.
Anything that connects to an iPhone 4S is fine by me...price doesn't really matter, but obviously less money = better.

I've had the best luck with the skull candy ribbon ear buds. Love em!

Shure or Etymotic... whatever pair you can get for sub-$300 then. You can't go wrong with either brands if you want top quality.
I myself found that I like Bluetooth in-ear headphones best for the gym. That way I can link it to my phone and there isn't a cable dangling between my phone and ears. I use Jaybird Bluebud X.. sound good and last the whole week in the gym without a charge.
For everything but the gym- I have Sure 535's with custom molded sleeves by Sensaphonics- worth the $150.00 to get custom molded. I travel a lot for work so I use them a lot on planes.

I use the $15 skull candy headphones. I get about 6 months out of every pair with heavy use. I can justify spending anymore when I always pinch them with weights and dangle them in the drinking fountain.

Check out the Klipsch S4. I've had mine for a good while and love them.
For guys looking for a more cost efficient option, MEElectronics has some nice offerings.Last edited by East Coast Kid; 12-16-2012 at 08:41 AM.

Skullcandy hesh 2.0
I picked them up for 40. Sound great and skullcandy is pretty good about replacing them if they stop working. They are over the ear, but feel pretty comfortable in the gym.

Yea, I bought them about a month ago and they are awesome. I've had other brands before and they all sucked compared to these. I like it because I just paired it with my phone and I have all my music on my phone. No cable dangling from your neck and these stay in your ears. I've had problems before with ear buds falling out especially on the flat bench. These have been the best yet and they actually sound good.

Everyone I see in the Gyms in Kuwait use Beats over-the-ear headphones, I spoke to a few guys who used the ear buds and they kept interfering with their workouts or breaking.

DSM- I've had the S4s for awhile now and love them. Have you tried these out? Any differences to mention?

I have not but I also hear good things about the "S" models. I saw this on one of my deals site and remembered the thread. Says these normally go for 119-149 but are on sale for 89.99 so i figure it was worth mentioning.
