Hemotoxic venoms are nasty and do substantial damage. Neurotoxic venoms are often more fatal.

I hate those things. Every once in a while i hear a story about someones snake escaping and being loose in thier house. Never for the life of me could understand why someone would bring one of those things into thier home. Constrictors and poisonous ones no less

Constrictors are typically not poisonous. Why do people have pets at all? Dogs are meant for hunting and such so they have a use but a pet? Some people keep birds. They are dirty and noisy. I HATE spiders but my daughter wanted a tarantula when she was 7 so we had one for 3+ years. I have had a python for over 30 years. It's gotten out a couple of times way back when but we always found it and it's not BIG, only like 4ft.

Constrictors aren't poisonous at all. Unless you somehow get an infection from bacteria in their saliva. Tarantulas are creepy as hell, I've had my ball python get loose a few times that was a pain in the butt let alone a tarantula haha. I've got a 156lb presa canario that is larger then my girlfriend and yes it works well when hunting. Also the best dog I've ever owned as a family pet.

Never had piranhas but the bar down the street has several and some pretty big...
My daughter had a zoo growing up. Neighbor kids use to come over with her because they didn't believe her and would say she is a lair until they saw them.
We had 2 large Iguanas, 2 horned lizards, 1 tarantula, 1 ball python and she also had a mess of pet rats. The rats I didnt like but they provided substance for the snake.

If you dont handle them enough yeah they get a little testy and you have to watch out for the tail. They dont like to come back in from outside on a nice hot day. 18ft???? Never saw one that bit and I have seen a lot in the wild. Sounds more like a monitor lizard or Komodo Dragon. My daughter actually had a baby Komodo Dragon for a while.

Yeah I didnt want her to grow up to be to much of a girly girl. Obviously never played with dolls. She got her first ATV at 7 and was riding my Raptor 700 when she was 12. You wouldnt know it by looking at her that she's not a girly girl though. She knows how to dress up now that she is 19 but still likes to ride quads and has to many pets. Now she has 11 ferrets.

I watched some shows on piranha's and they are interesting to say the least. They showed how people can walk in pools with them and have no problems but you throw in a fish/prey or as in one case a buss crashed into the river and they smell the fear/adrenalin or something and instantly go on attack.
The piranah at the bar near me lived through the bar burning down 2x. lol They died of old age around 20 though.
Yeah and she knew it but it's not deadly especially when they are small. You know you have to let kids make their own mistakes sometimes. I let her touch a hot pan on the stove when she was 3 or 4 after I told her NO several times. I made sure it was not HOT!! but she learned her lesson and never did it again.Last edited by lovbyts; 12-18-2012 at 03:56 AM.
