With the frequency of these violent and deadly shooting I have decided to take certain actions. I have my conceal carry firearm permit. Today I purchased a Glock 27 subcompact for concealed carry. This pistol will compliment my Glock 23. Being that the 23 magizine will fit the 27.So I can go from side arm to backup with no issue. I have also purchased a Galco ankle holster with a boot expander. I will be carrying everyday from here on out. I do not want myself or family to be a victim. I have a lot of firearms training and I am qualified with a pistol. The prices on firearms is about to skyrocket so if you have been waiting you better do it soon. I have never been in a shooting situation, I do not know how I will react when the time comes. But I do know I want to have a fighting chance. Or, if I can save someone else, I want the ability to try. Thank you.

Try to find a local firearms defense training class that will teach you how to react, so when any situation presents itself, you will know how you will react. Otherwise if you dont have the proper training and you get into a situation you werent trained for, others could be at risk.

I'm proficient in my shooting ,acquiring a target or multiple targets. And know to watch my background. And can shoot from different positions. I just don't know if I will freeze up. I like to think not. But haven't been baptized by fire.

Nobody does Cape...and you hope you never have to find out. The only way to increase your odds of not "feezing up" is through repetative training. The more you train, the more muscle memory assists in determining fight or flight and the more likely you will be to take APPRPRIATE action.

Put yourself in that situation decide in your mind what you will do mental preparedness is very crucial. I know you can't predict where you will be so put yourself in various scenarios that are in your daily path.

Don't put yourself in situations that you will never be in. If you don't go to the mall, don't put yourself in the mall. Do something that is routine for you on a daily basis. Also winning is not always popping the guy in the eye socket with a 23.4yd shot upside down standing on your head. Sometimes winning is getting the fvck out of the situation with your family still alive. ALWAYS WIN

Myself I have a Glock 22 & 23 and a couple years ago picked up a Ruger LCP. Great little weapon. You don't even know your wearing it half the time. I have an inside the belt clip that rides low and keeps it invisible as well as an ankle holster. Of course the ankle holster looks funny when I wear shorts.....

Sorry..I usually push the LCP but I do normally suggest a revolver for women and novice shooters like the LCR

I have owned 3 LCR's they are by far the best little revolver I have ever own. Wish I still had one, but other wanted them more than I did.
