BOOM! Full leg workout in 20 minutes!!!
So I go to the gym today at 2:30, the usual time, only to discover the gym has some very retarded business hours today - closes at 3:00!!! Who does that?! At least keep the place open until 5 like the usual shortened hours, jeez. So a couple of others walk in at the same time as me, and they just turn around and leave because it's not enough time for them. Not me! The gym is closed tomorrow and I want to get my god damn leg workout in! So I ran to the locker room, changed as fast as I could and I frigging did it in 15 minutes! A leg workout that normally takes 45 minutes done in 15-20 minutes. I was breathing like a freight train by the end of it. Had to move between sets fast and I was surprised at how much strength was still maintained. Felt like a really good workout by the end actually.
The last time I had to push through a workout that fast was as far as I can remember, 6 or more years ago. Anyone ever just toughed it up and blasted through a workout like Sonic the hedgehog?

My gym was closed yesterday, it's going 24 hour so I think they are taking the Xmas period to put there new doors in..and it should finally be ready
However that did not stop me I managed to get a free 3 day trial pass to another gym, had to pretend interested that I wanted to get an annual membership... Thanks for the workout haha

I went to one back home but instead of a scanner they just has a custom passcode you put in.
Problem with this gym is the hispanic folk who lived next to it would let like 40 people in. sucked when your trying to lift and there's nothing because its all taken up even at like midnightLast edited by Armykid93; 12-25-2012 at 03:05 PM.

If you service guys ever get a chance check out the redone fitness center at the WRNMMC in Bethesda. I judged at a BB show there during the summer and the place is really well equipped.
Love key clubs but all the ones around here are aerobic focused. Back in the 70s I worked out at a place called Dynamo Barbell and Dive club. This was way before card readers etc, it really was a key club it always amazed me no one stole a rack of dumbells or something simalar. Could not do that stuff today.Last edited by Far from massive; 12-26-2012 at 04:32 AM.

God bless the 24 hour gyms,I am lucky enough to have a local gym that is open 24/7,they just have a key pad lock on the door and every member has their own code to unlock it. 24 hour security cameras in case somthing happens after hours.

Mine is a garage style gym. All the equipment is old heavy metal weights and there are only 5 pieces of cardio equipment. You have a key fob that buzzes the door in for you. It only costs me $27.50 a month!

My gym is in my basement. Zero sights to see and the only inspiration comes from my Ipod thank god. Only visitor I get is the cat, who stares at me weirdly and motors on by....
When I'm pressed for time with legs I'll do giant sets consisting of: after warm-ups:
Extensions
Vertical leg presses
Squats
Leg curls
No rest between the exercises.
Rinse and repeat 2-3 times and your fried. Walk past the dirty/dust ridden treadmill on the way out...

A leg press machine that is vertical. Not at a 45 degree angle. You lie on your back and your pushing straight up and down toward the ceiling. Great machine for a basement gym. It keeps the weight you use similar to squats. It doesn't take up near the room of a 45 degree press and you don't need 10 plates a side. I love the thing. Great purchase.
