SO's commitment to fitness
So read a post about a wife / gf that bought her man some gear for Xmas and it got me thinking. How committed to fitness are your partners?
I'm single so it's easy for me to eat the right foods and get my workouts in but I can see how being in a relationship can either help or hinder your fitness goals. Do they go to the gym with you? More often than you? Do they really watch what they eat?

Mine is skinny naturally. And she is 10 years younger then myself.
She is not committed in exercise or fitness, but she is making a new years resolution to go to the gym 3-4 times a week.
She is moderately supportive of my diets and gym going.

Mine is skinny, does Yoga, and runs here and there- but she completely screws up my routine and eating schedule. I don't know what it is but there are times where she feels lazy and we end up on the couch/in bed and I miss my work out. Its also harder for me to eat because she's a Vegetarian so that makes it harder for me to cook for us both. I've found a few things I can make for both of us for dinner and then I just add chicken/meat to mine but still... total pain.
She has opened my eyes up to other things though like Yoga which is some hard shit to do if you've never done it before. She convinced me to go to Yoga with her once so I went and holy hell; it ain't easy for sure. Now I'll do Yoga with her once a month just to work on my stabilizer muscles and help my balance. I may do it every week. She has gone to the gym with me a couple times and wants to go more but I prefer to work out alone so I can focus on my routine instead of her boobies.

My girl is a marathoner who wants to have big muscles! She works out with me pretty often..she really enjoys leg days. She's a vegetarian and has no problem cooking meat for me. She's a keeper!
Ah, I almost forgot....She is completely supportive of me wanting to use gear!

I would think it better if SO enjoys and appreciates physical fitness. Especially since its a lifestyle!!!

And I would agree. My wife doesn't participate in "the lifestyle" and as such, it can be difficult at times to find the right things to eat in the house. She in NO way inhibits my workout schedule but its difficult to keep proper food for clean gains in the house...especially with a 16yr old boy in the house as well. She doesn't sabotage my diet intentionally... we're just trying to live life in the daily grind and let's face it, it takes time and effort to prepare healthful food as opposed to the products which the average American diet consists of. And after a long day its simply not going to happen, i.e., firing up the kitchen to cook, then face the clean up aftermath.

I'm gonna start spending Sunday, after church, purely cooking. I did this when I was living with my parents and it made everything so much easier. Have you tried that?

^^ Oh yeah. That IS my strategy. I'm about to drop some serious $$$$ on chicken, lean beef and fish. I'll cook up 10lbs or so at a time and stick it in the fridge so I'll have it. I don't mind popping a couple sweet potatoes in the oven...that's simple and requires no dirty dishes!

Sometimes they see you doing the gym routine and see results and that can motivate then to start. If she is skinny I would not be to concerned. Concern needs to be if she is supportive of your gym time

Lol sounds like i'm not alone in my strategy. If your an adult who works full time there's no way you have time to cook 7 meals throughout the day. Do it all on Sunday and your good.

If i had a partner atm she wouldnt know where to go for legit gear lol, let alone get it for me. Thats so awesome though, nothing like unwrapping a present fill with test and tren mmmmmmmmmm
Thats why its also good to find a partner that you have things in common with also, for example passion for fitness. Otherwise hindering your goals and gains will be inevitable.
