Palme, I think you speak excellent english for someone who is not required to. Kudos. I'm always impressed w/ people who voluntarily speak English, it shows character. When I go to another country, I feel stupid/uneducated expecting them to speak my language. Hungary is the one exception as I would never expect myself to learn that frickin' language. There, Finland and the Czech republic; I'll always be lost.

There was no reason to assume he was asking for a source. Asking if someone is from your area doesn't break any rules.
