    Low Testosterone at 18

Hello, I am posting about my test results which showed me too have 7.4 pg/dl free testosterone levels which is below the average for my age which is 18. I have never done steroids or pro hormones before. The most "hardcore" thing (which only an unknowledgeably people would call hardcore) is an EC stack. For a few months now I have felt like I've been exhibiting symptoms of low test but just credited it too my busy schedule but for a couple of weeks now I've been doing nothing but relaxing and still I'm exhibiting symptoms. The results worry me greatly, I am going to try using a natural test booster right away. I've seen that often the doctor will first prescribe Clomid to try to stimulate more test production. Right now I am considering getting Clomid on my own and getting another test done before going to the doctor who I feel might or might not blow me off and might just say that I'm a late bloomer or something. Any suggestions out there? Do you agree with what I'm considering or not? Any input will be appreciated.

You would probably get a bit better advice by posting in Q&A.

You should request an MRI of your pituitary gland.

n99, unless you get bloodwork done, you don't really know if you have low test or not. The Low T symptoms can be symptoms of other illnesses as well, you can't tell just from them.

That's really low free test I feel like. What were your total test levels? There are other things hat can effect free test levels.

You won't know until you get bloodwork done, and you shouldn't do ANYTHING to try and bolster your endogenous Testosterone level so as to ensure you haven't interfered with your body's endocrine system at this point. You want to know EXACTLY what is going on. You could be hypogonadal, or your endogenous Testosterone levels could be fine and your problems have a different cause.

Godfather makes a good point about doing an MRI of the pituitary, but you need bloodwork done first as soon as possible.

Most every 18 year old who starts working out and wants to gain size THINKS they have low testosterone and can make excuses to justify it. 99.999% dont.

If it's really true then you need to fix it, find the problem but that is not taking testosterone it's finding out why you are not producing at a normal level.

Are you new? All 18yr olds just KNOW what their test level is. If they are skinny it's obvious it's because they have low test. If they are fat it's because they have a slow metabolism. If you dont believe me, just ask them.

I just think it's funny how many of them use the low Test story.

Hmmm I wonder what the back of my head looks like? I am German, Irish and some Russian.

For those of you who actually tried to give me some good advice on what to do I thank-you.
To lovbyts: Even though many kids my age do just use excuses to why they aren't seeing results this is not the case with me. I do have a good diet and I am not just making numbers up. I have gotten bloodwork done. My total T is 276 while my free is 7.4, and you assuming I'm making things up and making excuses just because I'm 18 is just as bad as all the teenagers making excuses who I actually have to hear in person everyday from a crap load of people.

As I said in your other post if that is true I stand corrected and hopefully we can help get you headed in the right direction. I am only going off experience of 99% of the kids who claim to have low T. Most when they are told to get the thyroid checked or this or that they don't want to do any of that and only want to start trt. TRT should be a last option.

We don't talk about Twinkies anymore, Brah. That's a sore subject nowadays.

But dont' ever blame fast food or lack of exercise for being fat. Everybody knows it's entirely thyroid. That way, we don't have to take responsibility for our lives. We can just blame it on some condition and be done with it. Supersize my combo, by the way.
