I am unsure about which category I will be competing in. I can end up in over or under open but I am unsure. I am cutting hard as I don't need the comp to start for me to start getting to my best!
Misery, what's the deadline for me declaring what weight class I am in?
How does it work if an under 200 open finishes up as 200+ ? Doesn't apply to me but just curious

I would like a ruling on the weigh in and weigh out process please. For example..to compete in the over 200 class one must weigh in at over 200 yes? Would one need to weigh out at over 200 as well?
If someone weighed in at 210 but dropped to 180...would that put them in the under 200 class???

IMO they should be considered in the group they started no matter if they happen to be in a different class at the end to show most improvement versus the others they started against. Then winners of each groups compared for an overallOriginally Posted by Lunk1

My thought is you choose your class that's your class but I'm open to discussion.Originally Posted by Misery13
Hmmmm well let's see. Wht if someone starts at above 200 and happens to be cutting and ends up below 200. I don't think a point deduction should be implemented because his or her goal is to in fact cut bodyfat and they happened to lose enough bf that it put them below 200. And according to pics that persons transformation was incredible and for discussions sake, perfect. Doesn't seem fair to deduct from them because Of weight loss. Vice versa with this with someone bulking. IMO possible reorganization of things in some way to redistribute classes as this seems to be a 'transformation comp'. or keep the classes as is and do the comparisons as I suggested above.Originally Posted by Capebuffalo
Just open it up + or - 5-10
But even then what for those who make an even greater transformation then 10 lbsOriginally Posted by lovbyts
You know if your bulking or cutting. You either gain or lose weight. If I 210 and cutting I would say I'm doing under 200 open. Again lets discussOriginally Posted by BUTTERYGOODNESS
I'm gonna be bulking, probably starting at under 190. It's a lean bulk with minimal 'supplementation'.Originally Posted by Capebuffalo
I don't wanna feel I have to stop at 199 but I don't imagine I'll go over 205. If I then have to compete with guys on a cut who can lose 40lb and come it at a really lean 230lbs then I can't really compete against that.

Understood. Let us talk about the classes. What if the classes were like npc weight classes. There is a point for classes unless you just want open and natural.Originally Posted by SteM
Personally I think the classes are best suited as is. There will be bulkers and cutters, ultimately to keep people as motivated as possible I think the more classes the better.
