Sorry I haven't been that active in this thread. Real life is a bitch at the moment. I'm still up for this competition. Getting geared up now!

I would prefer proper judges, or mods/vets vote. The open poll is not a good idea, as mentioned it might become a popularity contest.

I agree with you Krueger but I don't think we will get staff /vets/hof to judge, also agree with it being a popularity contest and will end up open to abuse.

Was planned to be March 15th! Things may be in a bit of a standby mode for the moment but that is still a prospective date!

Lunk : maybe we should start a new thread stating planned rules, start date, judging etc and close this thread.

Maybe take a poll on the judging aspect, personally I can't see any staff wanting to get involved, somebody would have to mail them individually and see if they agree to judging

Admin and staff are working on it as we speak! I think they would like to see this successful as well! I have volunteered my services if they need. We will be in a bit of a holding pattern until they decide the best course of action....have faith!

And keep in mind lunk, and let anyone who should know, ill be willing to do anything that needs to be done, if it will help keep some stress off of the organizers. I eant this to be as hassel free as can be for the staff. These competitions are a luxury for us and we need to remember that. They could easily tell us no.

Correct we are closing this thread and will reopen when all the details are posted...

Once they are posted they WILL NOT be changed and there will be no exceptions to the rules...

My understanding is that there are several that are ready and wanting to start in this contest if that is so I would like to see that list... either via pm or you can post up in a thread...

I also understand that a few may have a list of what was to have gone on in this new contest if they can send me that information we will look over it and see if it can be incorporated as well...

We would like to get this done in a timely manner and still try for the start date in March... so anyone with information please forward it to me...

ALSO NO MORE COMPLAINTS TO ME about the past contest we were not involved in any way!!!
