    hey bro,
if you have winmx or kazaa you can download lots of file splitters. just be careful of viruses etc.

I believe if you go to www.divx.com they might have some sort of AVI splitter that you can use to...well, split. It'll take a while on any machine, but it's worth it if you need it.

If divx.com doesn't have it, I'll see if I can remember where I once downloaded that stuff from. It was from some dvd ripping to divx web site.

Bro, check out the files section on http://www.dvdrhelp.com (formerly vcdhelp.com).

You'll find all you need there... and more!

If you go in the Guides section, they even explain how to burn the DiVX file in VCD format so you can watch it in most DVD players.

DUUDE, this is the EASIEST PROGRAM there is, it is SO simple to use. Only problem is it's 7 day trial period, then you gotta pay. So, basically, you need to find a crack for it, I haven't been able to find a crack yet, but it shouldn't be too hard.

Go to www.download.com and search for "Easy Video Splitter" the program is VERY fast, works for MPG and AVI, the quality is SUPER, and you can cut it into many clips, by time, by size, etc...

DivX rocks ;-) www.divx.com. Look into a program called flask and ac3dc.
