If I had a diesel I would be pissed off to no end due to the price of fuel. What makes diesel more expensive than gas when up to a few years ago it was a lot cheaper?
To many non comercial diesel cars and trucks on the road nowdays where the truckers can not stop driving to protest and keep prices down where they should be.
If people could ever band together we could manage gas, oil and diesel prices by not using for even one day.

supply and demand if you ask the oil companies. If you ask me its just f":"^^g greed! The oil company is the only business where you can just shut down production and claim there is a shortage and then raise the price to whatever they want it to be.If any other business in the country tried that with a product the goverment would be all over them!

We have a 2010 dodge 3500 dually for our company with a turbo back exhaust, delete pipe, intake, tuner (not sure which one). It's a stick and real fun. Had a 2008 f450 with delete pipe, spartan tuner, intake, exhaust. It was scary fast, could do a break stand and it was a dually, but it was a pos and always in the shop. I have a 2000 f350 with exhaust, intake, and tuner that I plow with. IMO the only good fords were the 7.3's, mines a tank. 200,000 hard miles with very little problems. The 6 litres and 6.4's are garbage in our experience. With all the newer diesels the first thing you need to do is get rid of the particulate filters and all that environmental crap, get a tuner, exhaust, and intake, and your good to go. I work for my families construction company and we run our trucks all over the Midwest. Our dodge gets 17-18 mpg on the highway when empty. There is nothing better than having some asshole piss you off with there windows down. Fill there whole car with black smoke!

I like the unbelievable amount of torque diesels have. I got horrible mileage towing with a my old gas truck. Does anyone run a propane injection on theirs? Or natural gas injection?

I just sold my 05 Ram 2500. Loved the truck. Hated to price of fuel and the fact that newer pick ups are now getting comparable MPG to what diesels get.
So in my case I didn't need a diesel truck. I just wanted one.
All of our companies 5.3L GM trucks have made it to 300,000mi with few problems can't beat that.

I have a 2011 Dodge Ram Dually, it's quad cab with a 4" lift & all the bells & whistles, love this truck..................but............I've always had a thing for the mid to late 90's model Suburban, I used to have a 97 half ton in flawless condition inside & out, 6" lift chrome rims, bumpers & brush guard, I sold it because I found a 3/4 with a diesel engine that I wanted, long story short, the deal went south because just before the purchase I found out it had a salvage title, so I walked away from that on & I haven't been able to find a diesel suburban in good condition since. Like I said, I'm a big fan of the mid - late 90's model Burbs, I like the look / body style, but recently I saw the new Suburban going down the road & I was impressed, I've never cared for the newer model's look, it's just too rounded if you know what I mean, anyway, the newest model looks awesome, it has more of a masculine look, nice sharp, square lines, so I couldn't help myself, I went & bought a 2013, Suburban with the 6.6 Duramax Diesel. I had it lifted 4" the same day I drove it off the lot & I will fit it with all the performance goodies in the coming weeks. This is a very impressive machine, an unbelievable mix of luxury & muscle.

The new suburbans look real nice. Always like the look of lifted excursions and suburbans.
