Don't worry boys, he's well on his way. He'll blame me but the fact is he can't keep his nose clean because once a loser, always a loser. Nothing but garbage comes out of his mouth, so it was just a matter of time until he gave himself up - he literally can't help it. He's clearly compelled to be a cvnt. I also want to point out his initial remark and my subsequent reply. He gave his 'opinion' (which it hardly was, but ok... he's entitled), and I told him what I thought of it... which I'm entitled to do, especially as the OP. At no point in my reply did I behave as you described above. He wanted to keep it going, because he knew he had my attention (again, his MO). Nobody posts a reply like that without expecting backlash (unless you're retarded), especially given the content of my OP. Then consider his history and the fact I'm on staff here... and it becomes very obvious that he was provoking me. As I said many times now, he got the response he was looking for.

All that said, I really don't care about him or his feelings towards Honey Boo Boo. I have no personal history with this clown... there are other staff here with WAY more of a reason to be on him... so I'll step back and let them sort him out. He's no longer my problem.

Before your time bud and you dont know half the story. You know why Steroid.com is so good, its ran very well. Its easy to think this just happens, that its just harmonious, but its not. We constantly weed out the shit heads, trolls, ect, ect. Thats what makes it run so well. Admin over the years has figured out a well tuned system. You guys have respect for staff and thats the way it should be, we have put in our time to help this board and asked for nothing in return. You dont think I catch shit from my wife, Im 38 years old and spend a decent amount of my time on the computer with no monetary gain. Its because I love the sport and the staff here, we are truely blessed. Obviously you guys have a right to hate reality tv, I don't expect everyone to agree with me, and in fact I wouldn't even call myself a fan per se - I actually watch very little. But to assume that people who watch reality tv have too much time on their hands is just ignorant, IMO. Take me for example - I'm up at 5am, out of the house by 6am, and not back home until 6pm earliest. I go to bed around 10pm, leaving me a few hours to eat, prepare the next day's food, play with my son, etc. By the time he goes to bed I have a good hour or so before I do the same - if I choose to just chill and watch tv (regardless of it being reality or something else - I also happen to enjoy science, Nat Geo, History, etc), I would hardly say I have idle time on my hands.

Just curious as to what people think about this show. Note - if you've never watched it, please keep your opinion to yourself - because it has no validity IMO. You can't judge something you haven't seen for yourself. My thoughts...

I just started watching recently, mainly out of boredom (none of my shows are on right now), and for the obvious reason... to see another white trash train wreck. What can I say, simple things entertain me.

After having watched quite a few episodes, I've somewhat changed my mind about these people. While many of the elements I expected to see are present (illiterate, uncouth, relatively bad hygiene, many of the other 'hillbilly redneck' traits, etc), there were some unexpected pleasant surprises. They are without a doubt a loving family. It just becomes obvious very quickly that there is a lot of love there, they care about each other, and in many ways they have their priorities straight. There's nothing wrong with that. The child pageant thing is kind of strange IMO, but the show is HARDLY about that - it's a very small part of the big picture. One thing that I've noticed missing from their lives (at least what's portrayed on the show) is drama - They're simple people living a simple life. They don't seem to fight (beyond normal bickering over arbitrary stuff) or have a bunch of 'crap' like so many other families I see.

My final word - it's ironic how people will look at other shows like 'The Real Housewives of <Insert name here> or the Kardashian's and consider them upscale, sophisticated 'normal' people - yet their lives seem to be full of drama, hatred, jealously, and pain. Then you look at these 'poor slobs' and what you'd expect to be dysfunctional - turns out to be a really normal family (granted, with all their warts and flaws, like anyone) with a lot of love for eachother.

I am actually from the surrounding bigger town where they decide to do their daily activities and attend the drs office and its just a disgrace to the people in the towns they decide to visit. It just gives the rest of the world watching the show the wrong persona of people actually in the area. Obviously people not familiar with the south and it's customs assume that every family is like this and that just isn't the case. That's why I hate this show so much. People already have the attitude that all southerners are "redneck hillbillies" and this just further gives that vision to the nation. Just another channel looking to profit off the already ongoing false vision of a southern family. All the counties east of hwy 75 and 16 (Where honey boo boo lives) are mainly undeveloped small towns that consist of the type of people this show perceives. Most of Georgia isn't like this. I am educated and some of my family and friends may have deeeep accents but for the majority it isn't the way it is maid out on this show.

Now I'm sure they will say the name of my home town that consists of one of the biggest US Air Force bases in the nation and disgrace not only my home town but the men and women of our armed forces in that area with this stupid nonsense. I know it will never be banned and it is comical to watch but it leaves a bad taste in my mouth knowing its right where I grew up.

That does suck. I'm kind of in a similar situation... I grew out 10 mins outside of Newark NJ, the carjacking capital of the country. Granted my own town wasn't the safest place ever, but it wasn't Newark either.
