Well theres not much you can do. australia is a land of extreams. Cyclones, floods, bush fires, droughts, many animals that can kill you. When natuarl disasters happen people just get on with it if you no what i mean. The milk has been spilt no point crying over it. We rebuild we move on.

I have been to OZ more than once, it is a very beautiful place indeed, I enjoyed every minute there (that I wasn't "working") But I can't say I know what you're talking about when you say "the birds".
Do you literally mean birds or is birds a name for something else in OZ?

I was actually in Ipswich last year where it has been most affected. When i was there there were rivers everywhere, i said to myself this place would be flood hazardous, and i would not like to be around to find out.
Anyway my roof is leaking from the rain, raging bad, turn on the tv and see houses flooded there, i shouldn't be complaining people much worse off atm.

Bear im lucky im not in the state where its being most affected.
My roof in my unit is a piece of shit, and its happened in the past was just ranting about it, until i turned the tv on and seen what was going on up north, not a pretty site.
Although many years ago there were major flooding in the area where i live now (my hometown), so dont hold me to that as of yet lol.
