Weird... Was talking with this chick the other day whos uncle works for the NOAA, pretty much studying the sun all day every day. Basically he said around March/April a massive solar flare is going to knock out a bunch of electric components around the world

Interesting article, but the UK's greatest environmental problem is flooding and rising sea level, not the sun. I mean cmon, we all know how bad Australia got it with bush fires this year. That's a country that is affected by extreme sun.
