Police save 1 yr old in auto accident today

We responded to a 10-52 to provide extrication services on a 2008 honda civic when we arrived the car was on it's top with the woman driver (go figure) trapped inside, her 1 yr old son that was strapped into a car seat in the back seat had been thrown from the car during the accident (still in his car seat)..

When we arrive the child was in the cops car keeping warm while paramedics and stabilized the driver, we stabilized the car, and cut off the door then cut the steering column allowing us to remove the mother from the car.. child and mother were transported without further incident..

No one was tased during this contact with police..

(and i live in a small community of about 35,000 people.. )
