    Getting Tattoos while on cycle..

Any truth to this... was told not to get Ink work done while on cycle as it does take well to skin expansion while healing and can lead to higher risk of infection?

Guess it would depend on what you are cycling.

I cant see the problem. Why would you be at a higher risk for infection because of your cycle?

I also just had a half sleeve done in Pattaya back in September, the only downside to getting it done while in the peak of a cycle is the larger canvas. I have zero issues and sat quietly for 6 hours.

The solution to this issue is blast/cruise instead of cycling duh!

No effect. I've been inked on and off cycle. Absolutely no discernible difference.

I'm about a month in on my cycle and just got one on my inner bicep over the weekend. Hurts like a bitch btw lol. But depending on the spot, you should be fine.

Only difference when getting ink on cycle as far as I and my tattoo artist can notice is bleeding a bit more from the elevated blood pressure / thinner blood (I run baby aspirin to manage my blood pressure on cycle).

Inner bicep sucks especially near the arm pit. But then I got my chest done. Chest near the collar bone killed me way more than the inner bicep. And then I got my ribs done. That took the cake. Apparently the only thing that beats the ribs on pain level is the foot.

See my ex girlfriend had her ribs done and she had this tattoo on her achilles tendon. Like not on the tendon itself but that soft part between the tendon and the bulging out ankle bone on the outside of the foot. She said ribs were a piece of cake compared to that.
