Just wanted to put this up. This is from the early 80's... my mother was in good shape but not particularly big. Over the next decade, she managed to add some nice lean mass - i'll try and find pics but just wanted to show you her conditioning, although it's kind of a crappy pic.

Now? 56. In the pic, roughly 25. And to be honest, her shape isn't much different today, she's always stuck with it. Personal trainer for many many years. She puts most women her age (and younger) to shame.

Agreed. When I was young, I hated it. I'm sure it screwed me up in one way or another. I hated hearing people talking about my mother, guys looking at her, even my friends commenting. Not easy for a boy to process. Nowadays, i'm proud of her - but honestly it was a nightmare growing up.

Ahh... yea. Well actually, she's responsible (in part) for me being the fat ass that I was. Health and nutrition was SO forced on me, I rebelled when I got my freedom (car, etc) and blew up fast.

Had the same issues growing up. My mom is only 14 years older than me and she looks younger because she is so little (5' 105lbs) so all the kids liked to try and hit on her. Which caused lots of trouble as a kid. When I was in my late teens people thought she was my date, even had someone tell a girl I was dating that I was out eating with another chick. LOL
