    The constant pumped look

    I see so may guys like this. They just seem to have a straight flexed look to their arms, chest or traps 24x7.


    How? I look pretty damn solid when I flex up but without the flex I look like I don't even lift really.


    Is it just straight genetics or what?


    Just kinda crappy sorta, I'm used to it since I been like this forever. I wanted to say it's Bf% related, but it doesn't really seem to be. I see guys with guts and they still look pumped. Me, not so much - actually not even close.

    it takes a few years.

    I've been non stop almost 4 years now (partially off due to rehab in certain muscle groups)

    I'm at a point where the vascularity and the striations are very observable prior to going to the gym. But I'm 51 and need to watch the weight, so I've been trying to keep it under 240 here lately. I probably won't get too much bigger because of my weight limitation. But i'm ok with it too.

    What I am saying is it will come. but it also takes time.

    It plays a lot into genetics as well. Mesomorphs tend to have it easier imo.

    Ha, I don't know. . . When not flexed I still look the same as when I first started lifting. Yes, I am much bigger. But, my stance is the same.

    We'll see, I'm not going anywhere. Lifting turned into a good hobby and I do like it.

    there are certain things that will make you vascular, 17nors is one of em. Although I take daily cia, not sure if it's contributing?
