On-cycle experience
so im just curious to how everyone feels when theyre mid cycle? now i realize a lot of this will depend on what compounds are being run and at what dosage as well as whether or not any negative sides are being experienced or dealt with. so as it pertains to this thread im just looking for a general overall description and then specific questions may arise down the road based on context.
my reasoning behind this is i have not ever run a cycle but am planning on it in the not-so-distant-future and i like to have as much info about stuff as i can get.
the 2 compounds i have currently are test cyp 250mg/mL and anavar so u guys who have run these 2 compounds can make specific reference to them but id also be interested in any and all others as well. tren being a biggie. i read about it being an advanced compound and the sides getting pretty tuff, but thats usually where it ends. IMO it seemd itd be informative if we went into a little bit more detail regarding these things plus the positives associated with being on cycle as well.
do u generally feel good?
do u feel better than when not on?
can u tell that ur on?
how are ur eating habits affected?
is sleep affected and if so how?
etc.. etc.. these are just some examples.
also even though it doesnt pertain to me specifically how do u feel during PCT?
for the TRT guys is there any noticeable transition back to TRT dosage??
yall have done it so yall know better than i do what to include..

I feel different every time. 1st time may have been the best with Test only. Since then most every cycle has been interrupted in some way or form and I typically get 6-8 weeks out of it but I still feel good when it starts kicking in.
Only issues I have had is the 1st time running 500mg test and having a lot of night sweats and then again the 1st time running tren with test night sweats. Since then it seems every time the sides are more and more mild or almost non existent but I am also learning what to use with it (tren) to control the sides.
No PCT due to HRT so cant help you there. I think I would continually feel good/better if I had not had so many set backs the last 2+ years. Between 2008 and 2010 I felt really good, better than I had in a LONG time.

On tren I feel very dominant, not generally happy, very confrontational, weird sexual desires I never have when not on tren, sleep never really gets affected, basically looking to pick a fight all the time. It definitely screws with my head big time, but I kind of like what it does to me sometimes. Im really laid back person and can sometimes be a pushover, not at all when on tren.
On test I just feel a bit more dominant, happy, more confident. Doesn't mess with my head nearly as much.

first off, you look great for not cycling.....great job.
during a basic test cycle i always feel great. you will def . notice how you feel when you eat bad as your body will respond almost imed.
i always can tell when im "on"
sleep is fine on test, when i run tren my sleep is a disaster. tren is not for everyone. as noted, it makes me edgy as hell, just ready to blow.
pct sucks, clomid makes me cry at every stupid thing. watching tv i cry during sad commercials....or used too, now im on trt.
your going to love the test man, again with your build your going to look incredible....

I have done a few cycles.
Currently running 250 Test Cyp
400 Tren E a week split up into 2 injectons every 4 days
Only sides:
My ankles swelled up real bad 2 weeks ago. Took some Liquiddex and they went down. Shitty sleep for a few weeks now.
My joints f*ckin hurt all the time.
But look good and getting stronger every workout. My cardio has been slowing a bit, but I am still leaning out without it.
First couple of Test cycles I felt absolutely amazing.
I would like to metion that I have never done any PCT, and have never really had any problems at all.
And I only dose some AI when I feel like I need it. Had sensitve nips on 600 of test and took, some AI for about a week and it disappeared.

Nice post 405. I've been thinking about starting a thread similiar to this. I recently decided to start my first cycle May 1st. Gonna be running test prop and mast p though. Anyway, looking forward to see what other people post. I waiting for somebody to say we'll feel 20 yrs old again. I REALLY want to feel 20 again. LOL

Absolutely no point going into the world of the 19s on your first shot... Really, what's the point? You don't even know that you won't be completely satisfied with Test only results. It's almost as if you are going into this knowing you need more without previous experience...
I will give you my first experience...
I was fighting @170lb and walking around near 180lbs (appr 12%). Had no problems maintaining these weights. Got a shoulder injury which kept me out of training for close to 2 months and when I started back up i was very weak. My coach wanted me to run a cycle to bring back the strength and some muscle in time for a fight in 13 weeks. Long story short, I started at around 177lb and by week 10 I was already 190 without putting on any fat at only 400/wk test. This was without eating with the intent to bulk.

Yep. I guess I'm here to stay for the time being. Cutting right now so nothing special to report, but I'll start a log when I start this cycle. When are you thinking about running something? Is this gonna be a once or twice type of thing or a blast and cruise for you?

I can tell you 405, anavar would do magical stuff to you and your physique. My first go was 80mgs and it was amazing(and you are built WAY better than I).
I'm on TRT, which I think you are too, so I never really come off. But when I up my test to high doses, I feel amazing about 4 or so weeks in. I'd stay dosed high if I felt it could be done safely.
Test P is my favorite however. It literally starts in the first week for me.
Now as far as tren , I've not went that directon yet, and may never. I do want too however, so its probably just a matter of time. A low to moderate dose of deca would be good to try first. I'm on it and absolutely love it. Not a lot results wise, but I don't experience as much pain while doing pressing movements.
No matter what you choose, you'll do great with it. Test only is awesome, but for someone like you I wouldn't have a problem if you wanted to throw something extra in. You're obviously not new to this and are aware of your body. So I think anavar would be amazing for you and I'd really like to see the results it gave you.
Side effects are almost non existant for me on test. Anavar does have some for me, but my experience isn't typical. I had some insomnia and sweats. Nothing major, but it was due to the var. Calve pumps were intense as well.
Last thing.... if you do decide to use anavar, I'd personally say run it 80mgs or 100. I know you can get results lower, but I'd Just go with the typical dose many recommend. I've seen 60mgs do wonderful things, but there is a pretty big difference.

I must be slipping in my old age lol. Honestly...with your OCD, Tren should never be a consideration. You will give yourself an MI and the rest of us a whopping headache lol.
Seriously...I feel like a million bucks from the placebo before it kicks...then I tend to get sluggish and moody. By the time the end comes I am happy to be done and then 2 weeks later I can't wait to start again lol

You won't look like a cartoon character, lol. A lot of guys run cycles just to recomp, not really put much mass on. I will more than likely run a couple a year once I get to my goals regardless. Right now, I'm on for 6-8 weeks then off the same. I feel comfortable doing it this way. Once my goals are met, I'm sure ill do 2 long estered cycles a year, or just 1 really long primo course.

Yes. Test alone never really bothered me. But Var, Dbol , drol, tren , deca all caused me to feel a little slower. react slower. I would even wake up and feel like I extremely fatigued.
This is what do daily on cycle:

I honestly couldn't tell ya. That was well over a decade ago. I should also mention that my cortisol levels are unstable and I have a prescription. That helped with my mid-day crashes but even with that, I still get slugish. Most certainly you are correct about not taking time off/rest. unfortunately sometimes not by choice but supplementing certainly helps. BP however is always decent, thanks to Cialis and sometimes Indapamide.
