Harry Callahan: I know what you're thinking. "Did he fire six shots or only five?" Well, to tell you the truth, in all this excitement I kind of lost track myself. But being as this is a .44 Magnum, the most powerful handgun in the world, and would blow your head clean off, you've got to ask yourself a question: Do I feel lucky? Well, do ya punk?

I thought the Rocky Mountains would be a lot rockier than this.

Anyways, two films that I think are really thought provoking are No Country for Old Men and Collateral. You could cherry pick most of the dialogue in those films.

There's another scene where the Sherief is talking with the Deputy about a spate of grissly killings, how the murderers tortured the victims, probably cause the TV was broken. I found this chilling because it shows how little life is valued now because there are sadists out there that would likely torture someone to death simply to pass the time.

Yeah same, loved the book as well. McCarthy's writing style is very unique. You should read The Road, then watch the film also if you havent already.

We've all been raised on television to believe that one day we'd all be millionaires, and movie gods, and rock stars. But we won't. And we're slowly learning that fact. And we're very, very pissed off

I don't know who you are. I don't know what you want. If you're looking for ransom, I can tell you I don't have money... but what I do have are a very particular set of skills. Skills I have acquired over a very long career. Skills that make me a nightmare for people like you. If you let my daughter go now, that will be the end of it - I will not look for you, I will not pursue you... but if you don't, I will look for you, I will find you... and I will kill you.

"I never wanted this for you. I work my whole life--I don't apologize--to take care of my family, and I refused to be a fool, dancing on the string held by all those bigshots. I don't apologize--that's my life--but I thought that, that when it was your time, that you would be the one to hold the string. Senator Corleone; Governor Corleone. Gessup (Nicholson): You know it just hit me. She outranks you, Danny. (Kaffee nods) I want to tell you something and listen up because I really mean this. There is nothing on this earth sexier than a woman you have to salute in the moring. Promote'em all I say, because if you haven't recieved a blowjob from a superior officer, well, you're just letting the best in life pass you by. Of course, my problem is I'm a colonel. So I'll have to keep taking cold showers till they elect some gal president.

Mufasa: Everything you see exists together in a delicate balance. As king, you need to understand that balance and respect all the creatures, from the crawling ant to the leaping antelope.
Young Simba: But, Dad, don't we eat the antelope?
Mufasa: Yes, Simba, but let me explain. When we die, our bodies become the grass, and the antelope eat the grass. And so we are all connnected in the great Circle of Life.
