Its a doc about 8 families struggling after the mortgage crisis in Portland.
I was very curious to hear some peoples opinions.

"It's human nature in a 'more is better' society full of a younger generation that expects instant gratification, then complain when they don't get it. The problem will get far worse before it gets better". ~ kelkel
food stamps, government assistance all of them obese FYI
There was a family trying to do a loan modification (more favorable loan terms) and the loan officer (and I have heard of many doing this) told her the bank would not do loan mod unless they defaulted on their mortgage. So the family stopped paying their mortgage and then 9 months down the road they were told a loan mod was not possible and a month later the bank said pay this amount or we are foreclosing on you. Of course they spent the money on others things and fully blame the company for this.
Anyhow the point of the doc was to show how much it costs to teach people skills rather then let them suck the nipple of the american tax paying dollars.
Wish we had hbo over here in oz.
