So idk what it is... But when I drink I like to run. Take a cab home? Nah ill run the four miles in a tshirt when it's 35 degrees outside. Lol
Well here's the fruit of my last nighttime "jog"


Not exactly sure what happened, but I know I tripped and somehow lost my fingernail, spent the rest of the night flipping everyone off that I saw lol

Any idea if ill regrow that nail?

Lol! Ya the cuticle is totally gone. From what I hear it'll take several months to regrow. It'll be deformed for a while and may fall off a few times before it stays :/

I just gotta stop running home from bars. All the time I do it, if in not going home with the gf I'm running home lol. No idea why

That looks bad...you may have damaged the nail bed and lost enough that it will now be a flesh finger.

Get some Aileen sulfadiazine (silvadene) from Amazon and it will stop any infection and heal in 1/2 the time.

I got a Z pack. Azithromycin 250mg for infection. Other than that it's just antibacterial ointment and keep it covered

u shouldnt bite your nails ; )....yeh that looks bad....I dont think it'll grow back....a friend of mine lost his nail and its just hardened skin

Yeah that's good also for stopping infection but trust me, everything I have used silvadene on heals a lot quicker and never scared.

You should be ok. As long as the nail bed is there it should grow back. I shredded my finger with a table saw 10 years ago and it took the nail bed out in the middle so I have two pieces of nail on either side.
