Got back late Monday night from a 12 day Ireland and Paris vacation. Ireland was pretty cool, spent 3 days in Dublin, it was pretty cool, best way to explain it would be Portland or Seattle with an accent. Spent a day in Galway, nice coastal town, then a night on this small island, I think it was Inos Mor. Overall a nice place.I had high hopes for Paris, I wasnt disappointed, it was WAY cooler than I thought it was going to be!! I'm not one who gets impressed easy (which pisses off most) but there were multiple times we all had "holy sh*t" moments...and said it out loud. Just the scale, craftsmanship, stories, everything about those places was fantastic! I definetly encourage everyone to save thier penny's and take a trip to Paris (we scrimped for about a year) it's worth every penny.......well, almost. Both Dublin and Paris were filthy, the streets are just littered with sh*t and it looks like nothing has ever been washed (until you enter somewhere) I told the wife if we had a pressurewasher and a hose we could make a mint lol Also it was VERY expensive, I thought a little bit more but damn, it was crazy, lucky we built in a cushion.
Food was good but I didnt have any "holy sh*t" moments. When you hear about "Irish breakfasts" its no joke, thier huge. We walked soooooo much I eat 2x as much and didnt gain a pound
Now it's time to get back on the wagon, lose 8-10#, and start hitting it good.
