I am reading an interesting book called The Sex Starved Marriage.

If anyone is dealing with a spouse with a lower libido then you or maybe even your libido is less than that of your spouses. This is a very good book...it really put's some things in perspective!

it was a major problem for me during my last cycle. but now off cycle, back to my comfort zone of lowT, i'm happy with just holding hands.. lol.

Maybe she is wanting more My wife and I got into the first chapter and it was scary how closely it reflects us as well as most cpl's we know. There is rarely a matched libido ina a relationship and it is one of the biggest causes for divorce

I think for guys who cycle its something we all experience

If there is anyone who has been with the same person for a long term relationship for a long time I believe we all experience it to one degree or another. As said in the book though...it can cycle at different points in our lives.

It really puts things in perspective for both the higher drive person and lower drive person.

I just always used the excuse "show me a hot girl and ill show U a guy that's sick of banging her" or "it's not normal for a guy to want to have sex w one girl. Men want multiple women"

I'm half way through this book and it's amazing how it relates on so many levels. Even if you are in an otherwise happy relationship there are still ways to make it better. I love reading books about relationships and relationship therapy. I may consider a career change!

It really speaks to BOTH sides Marcus. This can be a huge issue in a marriage and something that over 80% of long term cpl's go through. It should be a good read for both partners

Are you advocating the lifestyle in order to have a healthy marriage? The divorce rate of cpl's in the lifestyle is astronomical!
There are a number of reasons one libido can be low. Some physicological, some hormonal, some from stress or meds.
The chances of 2 ppl coming together with a matching sex drive is like winning the lottery, the chances of neither one of their libidos to change is like winning it every week!

Several of my friends are cheating on their wives because they have higher libido than their wives. They state that they constantly have high sex drive but their wives hardly ever want to have sex. They also state that their wives are boring in bed and very predictable. They state that they are happy in their marriage and love their wives but have been cheating for years. I have spent a lot of time with them and their families. I have grown to like and respect their wives and I consider them friends. I’m having hard time with this. No I'm not advocating swinging is needed for a healthy marriage. The main rule for swinging is if you have a awesome relationship it can make it better but it won't fix a bad marriage it will only make it worse. Also fr whatever witnessed is the divorce rate is WAY lower among swingers. My wife and I also hate cheaters and won't play or associate with them because we don't like liars and self centered people. It's only made us closer and we are 100% honest with each other which I guarantee most couples aren't. So I don't have to hide my feelings I share them with her. I don't have to worry about checking out a hot girl or talking to them behind my wife's back. Having a good marriage and good sex takes hard work and I bet guys that are having problems aren't doing everything possible on their part.
