    Thoughts

This happened very near to where i live, Marcus will recognise the accent...

Was the driver right or wrong, yes he is an ass but was he not just protecting his rights??

Would things have been so different if he hadn't of had a camera....

lol, I love that accent. Well, I don't know the laws there... but in the US, he didn't do anything to violate the law. It would be his right to ask if he is being detained. An officer is required to tell you why he pulled you over. In Texas at least.

However, I would not do this myself. Also, hearing the guy laughing, it's evident that he has a problem with authority and is taking things to extreme measure. Sometimes it's best to just answer their questions and move on. I think he got lucky, this could have turned very ugly.

Fair play to the boy, coppers can be right cvnts and he was obviously within his rights.

Although I suspect his and his vehicles description/details have been circulated throughout the constabulary and they'll be waiting for him to put a foot wrong.

Good to see Chatsworth Housing Estate is real too

The driver was obviously well known to the police but what an embarrassment he was typical scrout with the attitude to match. Only a matter of time before they catch the dickhead doing something wrong.

It's would be tempting to drag the guy out of the car... Give him a kickin and then delete the video off his phone...

And I wouldn't hesitate to bet that that has happened before... But the guys deserve it...

My m8 is a police officer... He is a straight up guy.... If sum1 has a bad attitude with him he will find a reason to nick them.... On the other hand he has had to nicks people before for fighting and then after listening to what the guy had to say letting the guy off because he was straight up....

He told me about how he had to nick a guy for beating up a bloke in a club.... After he bloke explained why he beat this guy up (and his story tied up with other suspects) he drove him home and said fair play m8, c u l8r.....

IMO if you respect the police ur not gonna have problems.... There are Ofcorse exceptions to this rule

    Agree with everythinng except bold.

Most police are criminals. Period. Being respectful only betters your chances of walking away without problems. But it's very very likely that you can respect police and STILL eat shit because they are having a bad day. Don't get me wrong, I'm always respectful.

There were many things the officer could of done within the law but didn't and there was a motive for this i'm sure.

I do actually know of the guy, he's not the type of person i would associate with. To my knowledge he is yet to be nicked for anything else....

When my brand new motorbike (R1 in avi) was stolen i was told by a female officer that she was going on her dinner break and if she had time afterwards she would have a "drive around".
No one ever called even when i got it back myself they phoned to say they were going to send someone round to finger print it, they said please do not touch it. After a few days i phoned them to ask when someone would be coming around to do finger prints they said it could take up to 3 months. I told them not to bother, yet they can get 9 officers out for this 1 guy who is supposed to have done a hand break turn.......
Do not ask me for a source check.

I saw something similar yet done more respectfully at a dui checkpoint here in the US (youtube post). The guy videotaped the incident..all he would do is ask the officer badge #'s. He said he didnt wish to participate, was he under arrest, was he free to leave. They let him go eventually with no dui check.
I like the police being held to the same standard, however I dont like the antagonism by the drver - although its seems it ok for the police to antagonize at times so who knows.
I do know this. certain places close too where I live the guy would have been dragged out of the car and his phone "lost" and his ass would be under arrest.
It does make one think though - how much peopleare programmed to do things they legally do not have to do. This guy refused to do them. In a way good for him , but doing it like he did, being an asshole whether right or wrong, you will lose in the long run. Im sure of it.

In reality (in the US) if you are stopped for a traffic infraction you are considered under arrest and are not free to go. Only after the officer releases you with a warning or your citation (wich is a form of bond for the violation) are you free to go. In most states you could be handcuffed and taken to jail for a minor traffic offense in lieu a citation. It is the officers discretion to issue the citation vs the "formal" arrest.

lmao....that was entertaining...."get ur ahns of me cah"....

I was waitin for one of the cops to jump in front of the car when he tried to leave....siting endangering a police officer....

things definitely would've been different around here....and if it wasnt on video

although if hes going to post a vid next time hold the phone sideways lol

Crazy video, as marcus and baseline were saying, this chap is known to the cops. As he states in the video he has complained before etc so he clearly has had run ins previously.

If they really wanted to catch him out, they could hsve got him while driving and using a mobile phone

I just mean that I cant believe the passive nature of the police in both of these videos. In both cases an arrest was justified and should have taken place at the first sign of non compliance.

Granted I have no knowledge of the laws and policies there but christ all mighty lol

So much red tape here mate its a joke.
I have witnessed several people wind an officer up just enough for them to be handcuffed and then they claim against the police for human rights infringement for being cuffed with mechanical restraints.

Criminals nowadays know their rights better than their wrongs.
