Holy shitballs....was about to throw away my career by beating the living shit out some of your textbook douchebags tonite at the gym.....oh boy.....yeah, its one of those posts....

spotting my partner on some HEAVY dumbell inclines, he's got 3 more, and i know im going to have to help on the last two...now, when i spot, i do it ****ing right, its just him and i....aint nothing else exist.....UNFORTUNATELY, what did exist was the pack of ****ing fauxhawk sporting, schmedium designer tshirt smeared, sunglass wearing, dancing wanna be DAddy Yankee back up dancers acting like they were filming a bootleg music video on the barbell bench station behind us.....i knew they were there, how could you not, singing along to whatever shit they had plugged in their ears and chit chattering away....but my focus was my partner.....

wouldnt ya know, one of those failed abortions bumps into me as im reaching to spot my partner, and i strain the **** outta my arm as i lost my balance but made sure he safely got his rep......(icing it now and couldnt finish my workout and ill likely be taking tomorrows arm workout off)

of course there was a confrontation, which luckily got squashed immediately as a couple of my partners friends saw it all happen and were there as I turned around...and yeah, they were all "im sorry bro, my bad bro"

......and of course im extra angry because the old me would have said **** it and done something stupid....but nooooooo, i had to grow up, get a job that if i so much as get a ugly misdemeanor i could lose EVERYTHING, and in Florida you put your hands on somebody they are hitting you with felony battery without even hesitating......I HATE HAVING TO BE MATURE!!! LOL......

damn....

I've been there. Yell at someone and get charged with assault. I had to learn the hard way. I fvcked up a guy's car and tried to run him over and they charged me with battery with attempt to kill. Then they tried to send me to, ware I wouldn't get out. I plead temp insanity, fooled the docs and they dropped it. I started to learn to be cooler. ...crazy mike

24hrs later, reading your comments....yup...yall are so right, and NOW I feel totally comfortable with how it played out, and rather foolish at the fact that not only was I really that close to making a mistake, but how as I was typing my original message i was still actually beating myself up for not having thrashed the guy.....the fact my brother rolled his eyes at me for NOT having thrashed him and insinuated I was being a ***** didnt help much...but he's a 40 year old thug thru and thru so I should have expected that from him.....lol.....ahhhhhhh, the joys of the kingdom of men.....funny how no female would even understand what we are talking about...lol......

and CM, i see ur in florida as well, this place is FN NUTS.....techincally telling somebody you are going to F them up and getting in their face, even without touching them, is still a type of battery here punishable by the full extent of the law.....NUTS....smh

Its a dumbell incline...you would normally spot by placing your hands under his tricep and helping push upward. I'm trying to wrap my mind around how you would strain a muscle giving a spot, unless you were doing MOST of the work lol.

**it was a chain of events starting with me smashing into the back of the bench, ending with me in one hell of an awkward position as he simultaneously went from having most of the weight, to a whole lot less probably from being distracted from my sudden moving of his arm as i was already a fraction of an inch away from his arm...and while in perfect form, i can handle spotting him, in the position i was in and the fact that im MUCH smaller (he presses 130s rather smoothly, while im at 70 lol) with being completely off balance and it all happening in an INSTANT....$hit happens like that sometimes, meaning, all it takes is a ****$ hair of bad form from a moment of completely random and "this would never happen" type of crap happening, and you're icing some random spot...

What do you do for a living? As I get the impression from your post that you really wanted someone to ask this, so that you could tell us....

Also, I'm reluctant to give you props for keeping your cool, and not beating up a bunch of late teens/early 20s douchers who should really not get under your skin this bad as a mature adult. But seeing as you said you come from a background where you had a temper that was seldom controlled, congratulations on your progress in addressing your anger issues and making forward progress, keep it up.

wow? really? simply stating i could lose my job by getting arrested translates to "i want to talk about my job and let everyone know what i do?"....well, that certainly wasn't my intention, i still dont see how what i said implied that it did, but my intention is obviously irrelevant as that was not how you perceived it.....

and i guess i have a long way to go based on your standards of maturity, because i most certainly do have a problem with a bunch of guys well into their late 20s early 30s are disrupting others and being so inconsiderate and oblivious to their environment, an environment where to be quite honest, there is a potential for injury, that the above incident takes place........and i must know a lot of immature people then, cuz at the VERY LEAST.....thats would at least irritate most of em......common'...seriously?
