    Body weight Scale

Ok I know a couple pounds here and there isn't such a big deal. But I have bought in the last month or so a digital home scale. But I go to then gym and they have the old school scales, that docs an hospitals use. Not sure what they r called, but anyways. There is a 6-8# difference between the gyms scale and mine at home. Its not a huge deal but which should I go by?

Do you want to be heavier or lighter? LOL kidding....I have a digital scale at home and it weighs pretty close to the same as the kind you are talking about at the gym.

My digital is 5# heavier than the old fashioned ones. It's off compared to several I have been on.

As long as you are consistently weighing in on the same scale does it really matter?

Yeah I agree. What matters are the mirrors for sure. Just like to see progress and to see if I need to adjust the diet

Any scale can be off; the detecto style are generally more accurate than digital or spring loaded scales; also much easier to calibrate.

I'd weigh right before going to the gym, then at the gym for a couple days. Once you get a feel for how off your scale is, do the math in your head.

I bought a detecto, and it's been accurate now for 5 years.

Only if you don't want to know what you really weigh? Not to mention it throws off your diet, if you're counting macros and trying to gain or lose weight.

Simple. Ask the gym when they last calibrated their scale and if they have not then ask for them to do it asap. When its done see the difference between hm and gym
