I am reading "A brief History of Time" right now. He is a wacko, probably refering to light cones or something crazy like that.

Yeah, the guy doesn't know what he's talking about. Or if he does, it's obviously far too complex for our stupid little steroid brains to understand
I'll only pay attention when he gives us the answer to "Life."

And I've never understood why some members (who shall remain nameless and should know better) insist on changing their avatars without the polite announcement we've come to expect.

You can also download several of Stephen hawking's lectures off Kazaa.
Call me a nerd, but sometimes i like to listen to his lectures when i go to sleep. Only thing that sucks is obviously his voice deal.

didnt mean to confuse you bro but i figured some of can read too
Actually, we've debated this in the past, and many of us rarely look at names, but rather know people by their avatars...i would've thought you were fairly new if the name and van in the river quote didn't job my memory.

Kind of weird business. As you probably know (who's read the book) he came up with an equation of time travel. Other well known scientist as well has looked at this equation and says it actually does make sense.

Hold on a second here...
you guys got two threads going in one here… a study of time travel and it's inherent affect on the current human condition, and the failure of "certain" members to announce the arrival of their new avatars for critique and approval (or not) by the herd in to-to.
Point one followed by my synopsis ~

MF
and as for the second point ~
“HEAR YEA, HEAR YEA!! A formal declaration of “intention to chance” Avatar’s by known and honored members (Palme, that leaves you a loop hole!) Shall be declared no later than 3 postings from time of said change… “
Any questions?
