I personally don't buy into them really. What they offer isn't correct. Guys try using them in the mma world...

No experience, but I can see the benifit for sure. It will be a tuff workout. Ive lived @ elevation of 5600 for a while, and believe me you felt it.

30 minutes At 3000 ft elevation. No worries. Took a 2hr break. Adjusted it to 6000ft... Hit the 20 minute mark and I was gasping for air. Wow...

Keep updates on it. Also be interested in knowing if it does increase red blood cell count, guessing no.

So that's what that is. I had been pondering why it sounded like dearth vader was training around the corner from me a few weeks back, and couldn't really devise a lot of reason behind it. Now I'm interested to see how it goes!

We use to hike up 11,500 in the town I used to live to snowboard and I would have to take lots of breaks.

Hit 45 minutes today at 6000 ft elevation. First 20 was rough but I was fine after that. Haven't trained with it on yet. So far I'm just doing chores around the house.

Once I took it off, I could breath so much better. It was amazing.

a few lads have them at my mma gym, I have read a little on them and what i gather from it is, they are best used when not training......i.e for a good few hours when your sitting on the couch or when a sleep ( I know it isn't really possible unless you are out on your back and don't move lol) basically like oxygen deprivation tents.........

Misery. I like you and your wife but for the life is me I can'r ever say this is a purchase I would have even thought to buy. What do you expect to gain from this? Better oxygen exchange? I know folks who are training to climb mt Everest may benefit and use chambers to train in prior to the climb. is this on your future???

I figured that's what those were. I saw a guy at the gym with one on. It was close to when the last Batman came out, so I thought he was just really into the Bane character.

Better oxygen exchange, make my training harder, hikes easier... I just like to try out new training ideas and methods. Thank you for looking in on The Misery's.
