Similar reasons to MK. Complete lack of resect to staff with some rather unsavoury comments about their families too.
    NO SOURCES GIVEN

Holy shit, I thought I paid a lot every month. But doesn't the UK have higher food prices than America?

Not to make you jealous or anything, but I can buy a 1lb juicy rib-eye steak and a 5lb sack of rice for $12US. I honestly don't think I could make it a week eating boiled eggs and tuna. Unless it's tuna steaks on the grill, I can't stand that stuff.

I do have a butcher I go to who I buy in bulk from and I can get my bill down a lot when I go but its just getting the time to get over there with training, work schedule and personal life its just convenient to drop down to the supermarket. Couldn't beat those prices though even if I started shop lifting

I don't know of any actual butcher shops in this area. All the supermarkets do that factory-cut meats out here. Sometimes, to save money, I'll eat chicken gizzards. They're cheap and loaded with protein. Down side is they're high in sodium and cholesterol.

It's the stomach to chickens. It's not bad. It's southern US type food. If you ever try it, you probably could get a good deal on it from that butcher.

Never cared for the gizzards, they were always a little too chewy for me, but I'm a fan of the livers.

Ohhhh Chicken gizzards. Yummm Nothing better than deep fried checken gizzards dipped in some ranch dressing.

My mom use to fry them up on Sundays when she made fried chicken. I found a little gas station out in the middle of nowhere a while back that served hot food and had them. I almost made myself sick by eating to many. lol

They have to be made just right or they turn into rubber and are to chewy. The texture is similar to liver but just a little more chewy. Now I have a craving....

My mom used to soak them in bourbon for hours before breading them and frying them. I usually stew them in a crockpot with carrots, potatoes and seasoning. When I was living in Vegas and went by a soul-food restaurant that made them, the smell would remind me of home.

When my daughter was in kindergarten I sent deep fried frog legs with her in her lunch just to gross out the other kids and yes she ate them knowing what they were.

Wtf is wrong with all you people and your chicken gizzards? It's like eating a piece of a tire.

Just so all you non-americans realize, most of us do NOT eat chicken gizzards - just the weirdos on here lmfao.
