Do we see ourselves differently ?
I have always had this weird notion that people see me differently than I see myself in the mirror I know it sounds weird, does anyone else feel this way?

sort of like when you watch yourself on a video? how it doesn't quite match your own self image?

Im sure this applies to most people, tbh... @5'9 I dont see myself as very imposing, but people seem to find me very intimidating and I get told this all the time. Even the much larger guys at the gym sidestep me if we are approaching each other... or maybe they are just worried my ugly will infect them

I recent study I heard about claims if we saw ourselves through another's eyes we wouldn't recognize ourselves. Your either your worst critic or your largest advocate...

I see my self or think of my self smaller than I am. When I first started to lift I was 166 lbs. and at just bout 5'8 not large at all. Now I'm 188 lbs. 0n cycle I bump up to about to just under 200 lbs. but I often think of my self as I was at 166.

I started out weighing 155lbs. One hundred and twenty pounds later I still see myself as being 155lbs.

Im 6'3 110 kg (thank fyck. I dropped 3kg n shat a brick. Wait. Maybe that was before haha),
thats 240lbs.
Why in freakinly annoying hell do i still look at my armwvagainst others. Tiny. Everything. Tiny. Even if my hest mate stands next to me. (Hes chinese), hes my.lucky buddha ;-), n he is a lucky ****er.too pffft.
Anyways. Topic
Modydismorpia i believe. To helieve your body is not the size shape it actually is.
Every bugga tells me,'ur big lad''ur bi intchya''u go gym obvioudly can i as u somethin' etctcetc
I dont see it. ****ing hell. My best mate saw me get changed (im usually ready) n said. U train today? fuuuuuuuuukiiinnn hell. Thass good shape. Seriously u not trained?"
i hadnt. It was my first of two.was talking bout my shoulders
The only time i feel anywhere near my size is in q hiit or circuit class with about 20 of you midway through looking at a wall of all your reflections. Thats the only gods honest truth when i feel i look pretty good. Or bigger than most anyway. The only damn time.
But. I use bodydismorphia to my advantage. Im upwet with my size. My strength. Need.to get.bigger. all i tell myself. No matter wot. U keep going.
I did get to quickly measure my bicep as i bet its bigger than my calf. And my.mates calve.
Bicep 42cm could probs squueze it for more.
calf 37cm
Might start a full body size thread monday
