This is going to be a big summer for movies. Tons of things I want to see. My wife and I are trying to see one movie a weekend. Even then we will probably get behind. Just saw Pain & Gain, Gatsby and F&F the past two weekends. This weekend will probably be Star Trek and something else.

I think I will avoid Hangover 3. I liked the first one but the second one was just a cash grab.

I liked Gatsy for the spectacle. If you liked Baz Luhrmann's other movies you will probably like this one. Dicaprio is no Robert Redford but those are some big shoes to fill. The first half is razzle dazzle and the second half has more story. The modern music isn't as intrusive as I thought it would be.

If you thought Hangover 2 was a busty...you would demand a refund for 3.

My wife loved the book and the Redford movie but was kind of bored by the new one. That surprised me since the new one had some much more action.

Funny. We have the same goal this Summer. I'm not a huge movie-goer, but there are a lot we want to see....Hangover 3 isn't one of them
Btw, I loved Star Trek. Not sure if I want to see Afer Earth or Fast and Furious this weekend. From the preview, F and F seems like the others.

Saw F&F 6 last night. Dwayne Johnson's acting regressed in that roll. I couldn't wait for it to get over. I ended up texting through the whole thing and my wife actually understood lol.

The movie slowed down too much whenever anyone was speaking but I still loved it. As a huge dork I can't help but have fun at the F&F movies.

I like Will Smith and was excited to see some Sci Fi but the reviews are horrible and it isn't even a Will Smith movie - it is a Jaden Smith movie. Screw that.

I enjoyed Gatsby and Fast 6, Hangover 3 didn't do much for me, and Now You See Me was ok but a seemed unduly long.

What are your thoughts about this weekend's 'The Purge'?

i thought it had a very unusual story line about making crime "legal" for 12 hours
and the wife actually said she wants to see it
i'm sure there are a few that i want to see BEFORE IT
but i'll be looking for reviews
the bad reviews hangover 3 got helped us save that one for dvd...and i didnt think gatsby made a great movie as romeo and juliet meets forrest gump
