Since when did "fit" people get made fun of?
Well I think I have officially given up on people as a whole. Since when is it ok to be fat, and make fun of people who aren't? The more I look around in everyday life its like im a minority, im the weird one because im not fat. This country is literally eating themselves to death. Now usually in day to day life i just fly off the handle and tell someone that they can say what they want because i look better than them anyways. Now i rarely judge people on their weight because i have been there myself, until they start making fun of me for being fit.
So I went on a trip yesterday to cedar point with a group of people from my church, about 20 of us total. There was a group of around 8-10 of us walking around together all day, and one of the girl was getting a piece of gum out of her purse. So naturally she asked if anyone else wanted one. I said no because i had literally just thrown my gum out less than a minute before, and this girl that is about 30-40 pounds over weight says " ooh is that too many calories for you?" I just laughed it off and thought to myself that she was lucky this was a church outing or i would have let her have it.
and its not like Im super huge or super cut im 5'8" 170 pounds and 10-11% bf i go to get a bod pod next week. hopefully im down from the 12% 6 weeks ago
So do you guys have any stories like this where you want to just tell them to f off and stop being lazy and jealous?

I've been noticing this for years.
it varies by state, and last year I went to Colorado, and not too many fat people

Yep happens at my work all the time.
I usually make some passive aggressive comment about how they too could follow my diet and lose a little of their softness.
Eat meticulous, train ridiculous for best results.

When youre a minority, you get picked on. Just the way it is. Fat people can make fun of me for the rest of their shortened lives. I'm the one laughing.. All the way to the gym!

This reminds me of how someone at my office last week, who's about 50-70lbs overweight, was giving me tips on how to properly use gym equipment. I somehow kept a straight face but I was out of that room busting up as soon as I could end that conversation.

I really can't stand people that are out of shape due to laziness. There is no excuse why an able-bodied person cant stop shoveling shit down their throat ALL day long and get a little exercise in. I have no toleration for those types of people.

I get this all the time, drives me nuts!!! It really kills me when I'm cordial to someone and they give me crap for being fit. I went to a friends housewarming party and when I walked in I introduced myself to everyone. I guess the Emo dudes sitting in the kitchen playing guitar didn't find my dedication admirable. They said some shi*t like I couldn't hear them and I almost exploded. For the sake of my friend's event I kept quiet but I would've loved to politely say something that would've cut them. Well, they probably cut themselves so who knows if it would've done any good!

At 51, I think I am in good shape, but ppl always say I'm too skinny. Why? Because I don't have a big gut and man titties. I really get tired of, "Ha, he's having chicken and rice again. Live a little".
-
Oh yes, I brought this up a bit back also.
I feel like a minority at most times, hey why don't u eat this processed McDonald's garbage? You don't want me to get you anything? Why do you eat that? ? ? What do you eat? Do your ever eat anything at all?
The over weight fatness is a standard around me. And it seems to be getting worse. Why do you workout so much?
Well, maybe if I followed all of this advice my other long ass post in here would not exist.
That was a big factor of "why don't you eat this nasty ass Little Caesar's Pizza".
But, there is no way I'm going back to the Michelin man. Not, to mention its still nice getting looks from some fat fools wife while he has no clue of WTF.
Not saying juicing is the only way. But, people should respect the physical appearance of their body. The ones that do, always get an extra thumbs up from me.
The McD's eat fat fvcks can carry on powering the feeding machine.

I get this at work all the damn time. I always ask for either black coffee, or diet pepsi, they're all laughing and making jokes on the bar when they're making me these drinks, but last night a couple of them saw my new picture and were like "Oh, I didnt realise you looked like that" - Of course its a recent transition, but these fat bar staff that live off sweets and take out criticise me and make there little jokes, I ignore it as we're friends but its annoying as the OP says how its now OK to take the piss out of the healthy one.
My Mrs has gotten better, but she used to come back from work with ice cream, or cakes and be like "I picked you up something" and when I wouldnt eat it she would feel upset. Seriously?!?
Got a goal, making it happen. I will step on stage next year and I will win. Fvck the people between now and then!

My favorite thing is when people contribute my progress to 'creatine' or 'preworkouts'. Haha. They forget to mention a few years of an excellent diet and killing myself in the gym 6 days a week. Jealous people will always make jealous comments. It's easy to see through them. I used to be fat to, did lots of drugs drank and smoked. I will never ever go back to any of that. Some people just can't break free from their chains that bind them. Say a prayer for em bro

It doesn't bother me at all. I think they are just joking usually, but maybe that is just my ignorance. I am very comfortable in my own skin and couldn't care less what people think of me, so I have no problem with their comments.
Growing up I was always skinny, and in high school I was toned but lean. I never lifted weights until I started college; and now when I return back home (it's a small town), I constantly am accused of using steroids because of how much bigger I am now. I just laugh and tell them the truth that if I was on steroids they would know it because I would be a lot bigger. Once I begin using AAS, it will be interesting to see their comments then.

I just laugh at them. I've always got laughed at for the kind of car I drive due to it being italian. I get the same from the unhealthy due to what nearly everyone of the lads has posted. I don't bother responding mainly but 3 weeks ago I completely lost my temper which I rarely do if ever normally ijist let it wash off me.
But this time I couldn't do it. Let me set the scene we were all in a hotel for a meeting for the next months objectives etc. We all broke for lunch, so thats fine got our seats in the hotel restaurant. I sat next to the boss I ordered a burger and veg as the burger was homemade etc. So after ordering the boss goes for a slash his seat is free and one of my colleagues who can only be described as the most obnoxoius man ever produced and literally has the attention span of a 3 year old.
Every meeting he is on hid phone not paying attention and while the boss explains the objectives etc and after he does sll this the ape asked the most obvious question in the world because he wasn't listening therefore delaying us all.
So back to the meal, he came to the able late and say down next to me which was my bosses seat i told him that he still sat there anyway. He happemd to order aburger too.
So thats geand the food starts arriving out and my burger comes with the veg this prick thinking that it was a burger chips grabs it off the waitress as fast as possible.
Then proceeds to turn his nose up at it cos it has veg so he went off on a rant of why did you get veg etc is it because of dietbetc etc repaet the questions about 20 times. He kept asking me because he wanted to try sand be little me in front of everyone I don't give a shit what he thinks but why bother going on about it when its no concern of his how i eat mu food.
So after a good while of this, i lost it and turned to him if you do not shut the fvck up, i will kick the shit outta ya. He them kept going for a while till he knew i was actually reallu pissed off. He shit up then.
But my point is. Why do people like him feel they have the right to comment on something that has nothing to do with them etc if i wantedto eat the food off the floor who cares i didnt fo anything to him the prick. He also is fat

I get the same comments constantly. Its the running joke around my office that im the health nut, wont eat sweets, etc. The reality is most people admire the disipline, and dont realize it gets annoying hearing the same comments over and over. The reality is we are a rare breed and the minority. It actually motivates me because it has become an identity of sorts, and helps me stay focused.

I have noticed that as fitness has become a larger part of my identity others have gone along with it. If I talk about calories, macros, exercise etc they know it is a subject I care about and they talk about it more. It even results in some teasing but it isn't jealousy, it is just teasing for something that makes me different. Same as making fun of the guy who it an attorney or the guy that obsesses about his girlfriend.
When those comments come from a stranger though, I just have to smile and let it go. Who knows that others are thinking and I don't have the time or energy to be their therapist.

It's most people's reaction to jelousey... In my world however it seems to be the opposite mainly pushed by Facebook, making people feel unworthy if they don't lift and if they don't have abs or big bi's and giving fat people shit about permabulks, I'm glad I am the way I am when I read that stuff, but that I guess is dependent on the pages I like/subscribe too, and in real life I guess it depends on the people you surround yourself with.
It all comes down to jelousey IMO, take Justin bieber for example, most successfull kid on this planet, yet has the biggest hater following... But seriously why? Jealousy!
Each to their own desisions IMO, those who are so quick to judge are either jelous and/or not happy with themselves.

It all depends on where youre at. I've got a dozen gyms within 20miles of my house and I go to te high end one. So it's a lot of huge guys and the dedicated crowd. Or the old people with the cash. There I'm just a normal guy, bigger than most, more cut than most, but still nowhere near the upper echelon of guys there. I'm comfortable where I am.
Where I work however, not that race matters at all, but I'm the only white guy and the only one that wouldnt be considered obese, so I stick out a lot. I get hit on and stopped and questioned about what I'm on or what "we" (I'm assuming the mean whey) protein I take.
It's pretty rare I get made fun of other than by my friends because I don't go out and slam 20 beers with them or my brother because my metabolism won't let me be 160lbs while eating candy, Mac and cheese, and pizza all day long. I keep it to a passive aggressive comment about people being jealous or undisciplined. All it takes is a little bit of work and you can look 10x better than you do fatty....
I see it as a compliment I guess. If you're threatened or something because I look great and you're a fat sack of crap... Keep telling me how insecure you are about it by crackin wise. Makes me feel good anyway lol

I think of myself at his age, and what I would have been like if every other girl my age had a magazine or poster in her room with me on it, and I had more money than a kid that age can even comprehend. I won't elaborate, suffice to say it makes me want to give Bieber some room to make a fool of himself. I would have been much worse!

Lol well that's exactly it! Beautiful people can appreciate others that are aesthetically pleasing. It's the ones that are more comfortable playing video games and eating fast food that are haters because they don't want to put in the work.
Which leads me to an only slightly off topic discussion. Are fat/ ugly people ACTUALLY attracted to other fat/ugly people? Or do they just settle because they are aware of thier limits? Obviously, this is a question I can't answer since I'm perfect hahaha

Lol, I remember being over my ex's house, and her getting upset that I wouldn't eat some of the unhealthy SHIT her mom cooked, or at family parties and her getting her shit in a twist that I'd only eat certain stuff, or bring my own food because I was dieting. She said I was being rude and made other people feel uncomfortable and it was disrespectful. Well, I think its disrespectful to be an unhealthy overweight piece of shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit that burdens our healthcare system and other infrastructure. I did a paper once, on the deleterious effects of obesity, I'm not talking about direct healthcare costs, but rather ancillary costs due to missed work days, etc, and it is in the BILLIONS of dollars.
Another story, a girl once said to me, "Why are you going to the gym? Aren't you on steroids ?", and my response was "What if I was on steroids?", and she said, "Well, I thought you don't need to go to the gym if you're on steroids"...... Some people are actually so stupid they believe that if you juice, you develop muscles without having any need to train or diet.....Whatever...
