I eat steamed/boiled chicken all the time. Nothing wrong with that. Doesn't matter how you cook something, you can't burn off the macros. Otherwise you'd be eating calorie-free chicken.

Some of the nutrients do escape the chicken when you boil it, but it's going to mostly be there. I don't know why you'd want to boil the chicken, because, as you said, it tastes like shit.

If you want an easy way to cook your chicken, invest in one of these:

Amazon.com: Ronco ST5000PLGEN Showtime Rotisserie Platinum Edition: Kitchen & Dining

I promise you, you'll be looking forward to meal time if your food came out of that.

    I poach chicken
If you gently seal it each side and then cook it slowly in water which is only halfway as deep as the chicken breast you will have a nice juicy piece of. Hi ken with very little nutrient loss.

that's how chinese food is done when chicken is in the meal. Boiled, then steamed to keep hot.

Eh, I'm no fan of Chinese food, but they do more stuff to their chicken when preparing it, beyond boiling don't they?

I think so. Not sure. But I go to this one place that I like I and I see them take the chicken out of massive pots and then shave it into slices. Then they put it on a steamer.
