I've been thinking about getting some stocks. I don't really know much about it. Thinking about going on Scott trade or e trade. Does it cost money to create an account or a monthly fee? Is there a min amount of shares you have to buy at one time? I'm not to serious with it. Maybe something to play around with. Put a little bit each week or month into it and see where it goes

What are the fees? Is it just when your trading or selling?

They have gone up 3% a year foe the last 20 years. Good luck finding a stock with those numbers.
