FDA shuts down over 1,600 online pharmacies
FDA shuts down over 1,600 online pharmacies
hmmmm.....
It appears as though this was an action to take down illegitimate pharmacies: unlicensed, false documentation, organized crime syndicates. Not legitimate ones that sell real pharmaceuticals. Of course, those that are "not approved by the FDA" were also included. Even though all of my meds are the real thing, I'm pretty sure some of my sources wouldn't have proper paperwork or go through all of the bureaucratic (and expensive) BS to get on the FDA watch list err... I mean the FDA approved list.Last edited by Java Man; 06-27-2013 at 09:36 PM.

You can thank the Pharmaceutical companies that funded this...
FDA takes action to protect consumers from dangerous medicines sold by illegal online pharmacies~ PLEASE DO NOT ASK FOR SOURCE CHECKS ~

Not surprised. In the US, everything is motivated by money. I think law enforcement truly gives 2 craps about this. Give them a big fat grant and suddenly its top priority.

Nope not surprised. Its all about media hype and money. Not about real safety or results. Just like speeding tickets, click it or ticket, helmet laws for bikes etc.

Yeah the pharmaceutical companies are starting to bleed money out of them in the form of massive lawsuits. You need not go any further than your local tv and you will see ads all over the air stating if you took XYZ drug and now have kidney failure, liver failure, killed your wife/husband contact the law firm of Yada Yada. as these drugs were not thoroughly tested before coming to market and the pharmaceutical companies knew this. So we will sue for millions on your behalf. But what they don't tell you is they get most of the winnings.

John grisham used to be an attorney. He wrote a great book about class action attorneys. Fiction, but his writing is based on his own legal background. Unfortunately I forget which title. I read here that the godfather is an attorney and from what I understand class action attorneys usually get 30 - 40% of the take.

Give it a few months. After the idiots get done processing all of the paperwork and the 'criminals' pay the exorbitant fees, I mean fines, they will be back.
