    Further research?

How many of us or any other juicers actually have read something like this or have known this. I take this as factual information, considering the source. Most of which I knew, but some I had no idea about. Do we contest this? Or is this factual info proven by previous cases?

Just interested me a bit since I never did any other research other than forum boards where people tend to know the most since the members are users themselves.

This is a citing from WebMd(which I do trust as a factual source):

Men who take anabolic steroids may:

Develop breasts < We know, bitch tits
Get painful erections < Really, just sounds like BS
Have their testicles shrink < 100% fact
Have decreased sperm count < 100% fact
    Become infertile < possibly
Become impotent < Is it possible?

Women who take anabolic steroids may:

Grow excessive face and body hair < Known for sure
Have their voices deepen < Known that
Experience menstrual irregularities < Even knew that
Have an enlarged clitoris < And even known this
Have reduced breast size < This too
Have a masculinized female fetus < WTF? Really?

Both men and women who take anabolic steroids may:

    Get acne < We know
Have an oily scalp and skin < Always even without juice
Get yellowing of the skin (jaundice) < Please someone tell me this is bunk
    Become bald < Already there
Have tendon rupture < Well yeah, if you lift a ton over a weeks time
Have heart attacks < Possible in theory and of course more likely at an older age
Have an enlarged heart < I heard of this too, but?
Develop significant risk of liver disease and liver cancer < I know, but that's why we try to take some precautions.
Have high levels of "bad" cholesterol < Ehhhh, it's manegeable
Have mood swings < This just sounds too much like an opinion. Since I can have mood swings on my own.
Fly into rages < Never not even once, but I suppose it does happen
Suffer delusions < SERIOUSLY THIS IS WHAT GOT ME TO TYPE THIS

Teens who take anabolic steroids may:

Have short height due to arrested bone growth < Well known
Girls may suffer long-term masculinization < I hope no girls take juice young

Really? Who wrote this shit and how "true" is it? Nothing else, just this considering the source.

The liver factors I think refer to orals. This is general information encompassing the very broad spectrum of all AAS. It didn't break down specific risk factors based on the route of administration, dosage, or differences between compounds.

I have done much reading about the effect of AAS on the liver. Unless you have a pre-existing issue with your liver, injectable AAS have not been proven to cause jaundice, hepatitis, or liver tumors. Anadrol has been proven to cause tumor growth in rats. I do not know of a single case where it has been medically proven that any AAS, oral or injectable, directly caused liver tumors or death in a human.

IMO injectables are not hepatotoxic to any degree worth worrying about in a healthy human. Alcohol is probably far more toxic.

The delusion reference is probably due to the fact that some bodybuilders get a warped self image. I have experienced.this myself. Its not delusions like a meth-head gets them but I look in the mirror and no matter how big I am, I think I look skinny and once became obsessed to the point where I was spending hours in the gym every day and thinking I was just getting smaller. I wasn't. it was my perception.

Leatherdaddy was a paranoid delusional after about 10months on his first cycle.

Masculinised female foetus? New one on me.

All the others are probably correct in some way, shape or form.

FYI, this is from the NHS website over here in the UK as a possible side effect of AAS -

"splayed teeth and overgrowth of the forehead (giving an 'incredible hulk' appearance)"

Lol. I'm sure that makes big Lou feel great!

The only thing I know of with that actual side effect is Acromegaly.

Exactly, it's not a side of AAS it's a side of too much growth hormone . A bit of scaremongering by the medical profession.

A female breast doctor told me it was possible to get gyno from drinking whey!!!

Some of the stuff like experiencing "rages" I think is total bullshit. But as far as the enlarged heart goes, it's possible that you may experience an enlarged heart while on steroids , but weight lifting in itself can cause that. It's called Athletic Heart Syndrome. So let's say you die of an enlarged heart complication.

Sort of what I seen from this myself. There are no specifics in any sort(dosages, types of AAs, age of use or length of use).

Sure wish steroids could be prescribed as an actual med like the weight loss shit does. This would give us so much more factual insight than just random shit.
