Injection Technique????

So I'm reading Muscle and Fitness and come across an article on injecting. It says "Once the syringe is filled with the proper dosage the needle is removed and replaced with a fresh one. This needle has been stored in the freezer before use so it will numb(slightly)the tissue upon contact. "

I have never heard or know any one to do this. Has anyone here used that technique ?

Well freezing or ice does numb the skin and as long as the needle is kept in its airtight sterile packaging I dont think moisture or condensation should be an issue.

That being said I would not store my needles in the freezer or leave them in more than overnight just to be safe. I also cant see there being much of a difference if you are only using a 25g or smaller. Maybe if you are using 21 or larger?

Really do they store them in the freezer at the doctors office at the hospital ??

Every time I think I've heard it all. some other Bullsh!t comes up about injection tech. It makes me wanna pick up an 18G and make a video and show this is how you stick you a$$ with a needle.

Next month heat your needle to cauterize the injection site. Never loose gear or blood again.

But ya know I'm not bragging and sorry to admit but I have done worse with the 18g long ago, not pretty. We won't go there. To really think about it. heck that would hurt like a MF.....ouch ! ...crazy me

Used to use a freeze spray on the old lady. The stuff was sold to remove bubble gum etc from carpet by freezing it. This is much more effective but you do have to be very careful as the line between chilled skin/flesh where the nerve impulses are deadened and frostbite is a fine one.

As to the 18g thing.. About 30 years ago a "friend of mine" was once in lockup and getting ready to go through withdrawal from heroin. Back then they used to put heroin in balloons and "my friend" had eaten about a dozen of them before his arrest. So while waiting on "his" digestive tract to pass them "he" had found the only thing available to inject, snorting would have been way too wasteful. An inflation needle from the gym, some tape and a bic pin for the barrel, was going to fashion an eye dropper with one of the balloons...luckily as 'he" was sharpening it on a match book cover "he" got bailed out!

My last nebido was put in with an 18g straight into my right glute I yelled like a baby that mofo hurt like a biatch and I regularly use 21g in quads and glutes

I put a hole in my arm. I was way fvcked up and out there somewhere. I thought I was going to bleed to death but I was sooo .........I grabed a towel around it and my buddies cared for it.

id pin an 18 in my glute if I had too, I use a 22 right now. But nobody I have ever heard of freezes their needles? Not medical clinics, hospitals, nobody. If they did it would be to sterilize them. Damn muscle and fitness. LOL
