    IF I was going to do something like that I would want a thick mattress at the bottom. lol

    She is also only 7, far from full grown. Just like you mention the lions and tigers they are all great fun when they are young and playful but something changes most all the time when they hit adult hood. Just wait until she breeds and has baby hippos and that motherly protective instinct kicks in...
