    yes they're very deadly animals...but they're not "see and kill" animals...think of it along the lines if ppl having lions and tigers and other wild animals that were raised at birth

Just like you mention the lions and tigers they are all great fun when they are young and playful but something changes most all the time when they hit adult hood. Just wait until she breeds and has baby hippos and that motherly protective instinct kicks in...
